Excellent scissors for floral arrangements!
I love these flower scissors! The blade quality is excellent. Note that this is not a stainless steel pair of scissors, so needs care. I dry the blades thoroughly after each use to prevent rust and the blade stays sharp. The blade cuts more easily and smoothly than any stainless steel scissors I’ve used and as long as I take care of the blade metal, the scissors stay very sharp for a long time. Initially, it took a few times of use to adjust to the uniqueness of using Japanese-style scissors, yet I love the feel of the scissors in my hand and knowing I’m using scissors designed to create art with my floral arrangements.

Nice and sharp
I'm an Ikebana teacher. Always need to replace hasami shears after awhile. I wonder if my old ones can be refurbished and sharpened? Mine just get relegated to the garden for pruning....

This is a good product, Its nice and cuts very good. One thing to keep in mind is to do research. Buy care equipment to take care of the Ikebono scissors. Like a rust remover and oil that is used to keep them maintained.
