My cats don't play with this all the time, but they do play with it. I like that it's helpful for my cat with bad vision (cross-eyed since birth), he's more of a pouncer than a chaser. This thing has taken a beating and still going strong! It's the kind of toy that they can "grab" and kick with their hind legs, and they do! Also that it will start 'flopping' when it's touched helps the hunter/prey type of play that cats like. I like that it doesn't automatically 'turn on' at set intervals and that it has to be 'activated' by touch/motion. I'm very happy with it! I may need to refresh the catnip pouch it comes with, but it gets used either way

Cats absolutely love it, well my baby boy does. The others are just entertaining the idea, just staring at it.. He will play with it for hours (3 years old) licking it, kicking it, pouncing, throwing everything you can imagine. Not for all cats but nothing is for everyone. Highly recommend for the price it's worth a shot. It's rechargable as well which is a huge plus in my book.

I ordered this toy for my cats after seeing a rescuer I follow on social media recommended it. One of her rescue kitties loved it. I have 3 cats and all 3 were quite curious since the fish came with a catnip packet inside. I charged the toy then turned it on. Only one of the 3 cats plays with the toy. He will smack it to turn it on and then kicks it or sits on it. Definitely entertained with the toy. The reason I rated it 4/5 stars is the battery doesn’t last. It has to be charged quite often

My cat loves these fish. This is the third one that I have purchased the other two being from different sellers. It’s very cute and at first it worked well however, after the first couple of days, it started working not so well. I’ve had it for a few months and it works OK but it’s just not like it was in the beginning it barely flocks now which loses my cat’s attention quickly. Most people with cats know that most of them have a short attention span kind of like a three-year-old. Personally, I would not purchase this one again however maybe the problem is just with that specific one. Maybe the rest of them are perfect.

The Flopping Fish toy in the clown style has become my senior cat's favorite toy since last year. The material used is of good quality. Honestly the best purchase I’ve ever made! Normally if I buy him anything he just ignores it, but he loves this thing. My cat is an only child and he’s very energetic and I get worried he’s bored, but this toy literally changed his life lol. I also noticed a difference in his behavior instantly, he isn’t bored anymore and doesn’t get too lonely when I’m gone. He didn’t even let me check it out before he smelled the catnip and went crazy for it! Turned on and he loves it so much, he loves to bunny kick it, chew it, slap it everything. The durability is also great, he’s abused it heavily and it’s still going strong!! I want to buy him the clownfish one next. This is his new favorite thing ever, he’d probably trade me for 20 of them. I’ve never left an Amazon review before but this toy literally made him so happy I had to.

Battery does not last long however my kitty loved it. Easy recharge but get extra catnip to refresh.

My Cat is scared of the fish when it is turned on, but does like to lay on it when its turned off so still good for something i suppose
