I cried about 26 times reading this book. 10/10 recommend

@pierre: i saw this post on my newsfeed and I was immediately taken by your words and almost felt like it was written about me. I bought the book immediately and I'm almost through reading it and I love it. Obviously it isn't about me but what was comforting to know that there are many women out there just like me and some different and no matter who they are or what they believe in,they have their heart broken by someone at some point. If they could get through it so can i. It's nice to see that a man cares enough to publicly accept how he wronged all the women in his life, he may not be able to fix it but at least he offered them closure via this book. Great work. Love this book small short poems/ stories are very good. Was a nice ready when going through a rough time during a break up.

Pierre Alex Jeanty is an amazing, honest poet. I mean, words can't describe what beautiful mind and heart he has that shine through in his writing. His last book, Unspoken Feelings of a Gentleman, is a book I personally think all men should read. This book, on the other hand, is the one all women should read. His poetry is empowering and honest. Read it, then give it to your daughters, your best friends, your sisters. All women need to know that they are valuable and that they deserve more than to be loved and appreciated only after they leave the picture.

Amazing book about a mans view on all the women who have made him the type of man he is today. So much detail on how beautiful every type of woman is. Beautiful story telling!

“If they cannot meet your standards, don’t lower your own for their sake” I found this to be just what the doctor ordered for my broken heart. To know that nothing happens in vain. A lesson will be taught to the person who didn’t reciprocate my love. To see how so many beautiful women were recognized for the impact they left was beautiful.

I have bought read every one of Pierres books and I have recommended them to anyone looking to find more about themselves and how to be a better lover in today's world. It can be tough to see all your mistakes at the time but Pierre does a great job of guiding your heart in the right place and helping you correct who you are and who you've been.

First time reading a book by this author and I was impressed. My favorite poems were A Heart Like Yours, What You Deserve, and One Day. I would recommend this book and read another book from this author. Very good read.

Inspiring, respectful and gives us hope that some men out there recognise the complexities of women and that we're not "all the same".Like a thank you note but much more. Definitely recommend this for all ladies...probably a good salve for heart-break too!

I love the concept of this book even though I have not yet managed to read it to the end as my boyfriend has now claimed it, he seems to love it. The message within is of great relevance message for both and men and women. Amazing writer.
