These worked perfectly for the pirate treasure chest setup I was putting together. They’re lightweight enough for props and decor, but still metal and surprisingly satisfying to clank together like real coins. The antique gold finish photographed really well and fit the nautical aesthetic perfectly. I only wish I had purchased more!

These coins were perfect for my son’s pirate birthday party. They are metal and look very realistic. The kids were so excited about them.

A little small, but that’s my fault, I didn’t see the size. Otherwise great coins, give a nice clink in the pouch. It’s also pleasantly heavy, giving it an authentic feel. Highly recommend, but again pay attention to size.

These were an excellent gift for my nephews. They're like something out of The Goonies movie. Spot on prop item, and they're metal, not plastic.

Planned a treasure hunt for my nephew's 6th birthday party and I used a treasure chest I bought here on Amazon to hold these fake gold plated zinc coins, as well as some National Geographic real fossils, gemstones, geodes, quartz crystals, among other interesting natural items that I thought he'd be interested in. He's big into dinosaurs, fossils, discovery, exploration, and digging things up! I bought these coins because they are real metal, they make that klink sound when you handle them and they set off a metal detector. They come in a felt bag that fits in the palm of your hand. As the product name says, there's only 35 coins in the bag, these are true to size so they are about the size of nickels, you're gonna wanna buy several bags if you want a lot of them to fill up a chest or similar box. I hid the treasure chest and created a treasure map using clipart images that looked like real landmarks around his house that I knew he'd be able to identify, I put it all together with PowerPoint, and printed it on brown card stationary to give it that aged look. I placed the treasure chest keys, map, and one gold coin inside a small puzzle box that I also bought here on Amazon, and gave it to him wrapped up as a present, just to boost the excitement and wonder. I didn't want to get too carried away with hiding the chest because it was 90-something degrees and humid the day of his birthday party, so I left it above ground, behind a tree. He was very excited to go on an adventure to find treasure! I secretly wish we had these real metal coins when I was a kid, we had the crappy plastic ones where the paint would wear off with use. These look real, feel real, especially to a kid. If you have kids with interests similar my nephew's, I highly recommend these coins for imaginative play. Maybe even use them as a way to learn about spending and saving money, instead of the risk of using (and losing) the real thing. Pay them for chores, or reward them for good behavior, have them pay you for perks or treats when they want something. If they loose these fake coins, oh well, they're worth less than the real thing.

Purchased the 100 ct version of this product, the coins have a solid weight with a good feel when holding. They also make a nice clink sound when you fill the included bag with them. The gold color matches the image when view on my phone and pc. over all the 100 ct version is a better option than the 30 ct version for the price, these also make a good item for trinket trading. Overall the size is roughly about the same as a nickle

La qualité est vraiment au rendez-vous : le rendu du métal est excellent, ce qui donne un aspect très authentique à ces pièces. ​Pour donner une idée précise de la taille à ceux qui hésitent, elles sont assez compactes, environ de la taille d'une pièce de 1€. C'est parfait pour agrémenter des jeux de rôle, décorer une table de fête sur le thème des pirates ou compléter un costume. ​Elles sont bien finies et très agréables au toucher. Je recommande vivement pour tous ceux qui cherchent un accessoire de qualité pour une chasse au trésor ou tout autre projet créatif !
