We're having a new home built, in the near future. I am in the process of rounding up some of the finish plumbing and electrical. I don't like the standard 'contractor grade' fixtures and don't like paying retail for the better quality stuff either. So, I'm doing all the buying and getting good deals on quality fixtures. This is one that I didn't even know existed. But, I REALLY like it and it's going in my kitchen island. This powered pop up 'power center' is fantastic. With just a touch, the powerful motor causes the 'power center' to rise out of the counter top, just like a periscope in a submarine. You have three grounded power outlets and two USB power ports available, like magic! Then, just another touch and it's "Down periscope!". The whole thing retracts back into the countertop and all you see is the nicely finished brushed stainless steel cap. And, don't worry about trying to find the right size hole saw to cut the opening in your counter top for this product. A marble / granite cutting hole saw is INCLUDED with this set. Great purchase. Five stars.

The reason I gave this a 4 star is that it needs to be modified. The downside of this product is that when you tap for the outlet to come up although you can touch it, it will stop it at the level you want however to close it when you tap it again the outlet goes all the way up instead of hiding from the point it is which I find a little bit annoying as you have to wait to go up and then you tap again so it can close. They need to better this product. But overall it is a good product and we are happy with it.

We have only used this once and the unit gets stuck when activated to lower or rise. The mechanism that is trying to raise it just runs unless I assist. THIS is not a good product. Do NOT waste your money.

4 outlets and 2 usb port for kitchen island. motor could be a little queiter when it pops up and goes down.

I Bought this product and arrived broken. I contact the seller for a replacement, so i send back the product and the replacement arrived broken as well!! The top lid broke very easy. This is not a reliable product when it comes broke. I doubt it broke twice during shipping when it came very well packed. I don't recommend this product since it could easily get damage. As well, it makes a noise when operates and you have to really push hard to operate. The electric motor when coming up or hiding, it does makes some noise that is not attractive. My friend bought one that the noise is seamless. So, i highly recommend that for an extra bucks you buy one that doesn't make noise and more reliable.
