Received ontime. Works great with Del XPS 13 2-in-1
Works great with my Del XPS 13 2-in-1 laptop. It allows me to connect to my desktop monitor, USB 3 external hard drive and the pass through power keeps the computer charged while I'm working at home. It's also easier to insert a micro SD memory card into the card reader than the one on the computer. I'm using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard so can't comment on a usb mouse and keyboard but I imagine they would work just fine also. It is also a reasonable size for travel. I may consider buying another to allow me to connect to hotel TV's when I start traveling for business again.Overall a great product at a reasonable price. Highly recommended based on my initial use.

Perfectly Compact
I was looking for a way to get extra USB and an SD card in my MacBook and this ended up being perfect. It’s a lot smaller than I was expecting but it fits perfectly in the little pouch with the charging cord. Exactly what I needed for on the go. I won’t even notice the added item to my bag.

Much better than Anker USB Hub
I've long been a dedicated and loyal Anker user, however the past few purchases resulted in unexpected quality and/or technical issues. So, when I needed an expansion hub for my Mac Mini (running Catalina), I first went to Anker. The Anker caused so much interference with my Apple keyboard and Logitech trackball, that I couldn't use either with the hub plugged-in. Amazon suggested the VAVA hub and I gave it a try. This thing works flawlessly and does not introduce any interference with any of my wireless devices. It passes data seemingly fast (I haven't measured it, but my gut tells me it's not slowing anything down). It's compact and it feels well built - the body is solid; almost like an external SSD hard drive. If you're looking for a stable, reliable, competent USB expansion hub, look no further. Yes, it's more pricey than the Anker, but it's money well spent. You won't regret purchasing this.

Sleek, Compact, Good Quality, Versatile Hub
I'm using this hub with a 2020 Macbook Air M1. The Macbook came with a 30W USB-C Charging brick, which is the smallest powered brick Apple offers, so I needed a hub that would not use a lot of power on itself, and would pass-through the majority of the charging power. I had the hub plugged into my Macbook, the 30W power cord plugged into the hub, an HDMI Dell display plugged into the hub, a wired keyboard plugged into the hub, AND my iPhone plugged into the hub and charging. In other words, the hub was fairly loaded (as much as I would ever need at one time) and it was still able to charge my Macbook from 70% - 100% in about 2 hours. While that is slower than if the 30W brick was plugged directly into the Macbook, I'm glad I don't have to worry with "Battery not charging" issues, even with the smallest power brick from Apple. This hub uses a modest amount of power, so good job VAVA. Also, it got slightly warm, like the temperature of your phone after you've been using it for a while - not hot at all, just warm. When the Macbook was charged, it cooled to ambient room temp. (Note: items like my iPhone plugged into the USB-A ports on the hub will NOT charge unless the hub is plugged into the Macbook... in other words, I tried using the hub as a power station with the 30W brick plugged into the DC In port and the hub NOT plugged into my Macbook, but it would not charge other devices in the configuration. That's fine, it is intended to be a hub for USB-C port expansion, not as a power hub, but that's just a little free byte of info. It performs its intended function fully.)Build quality seems on par with price... $22 gets you a plastic body that is 4" long and 1.5" wide, cable + USB-C connector adds 6.5" for overall length 10.5". Color of the body is very close to Apple Space Gray with black accents, no visible lights (thank you!) The cable is pretty beefy with nice, thick boots on connector ends, I'm sure it will hold up well with light use. The USB-C cable that connects to your device is slightly wider than Apple's cable, but with a stronger boot and still allows room for a wide USB-C connector next to it, no issues there.Overall, I'm very pleased with this VAVA device, great price point, functions well, sufficient power for pass-through charging for a 2020 Macbook Air M1 with 30W power brick, cannot comment on longevity yet. 5 stars.

For what I need, works perfectly
I bought this to use as a usb hub as well as an sd card reader. I don't use the hdmi, but it's nice to have if I ever do. Transfer speeds (for the usb drives) are approximately the same as the usb port on my laptop. Build quality feels really good. Doesn't feel cheap or fragile. All in all this is a very quality usb hub and one of the cheaper ones I found with all of these features. Only thing I would change, and this is an extremely minor nitpick, It would be nice if the short cable was a little less stiff. Other than that, I love everything so far.

How did this only cost me $20??? Wow...
First I should mention the regular price is $25, there was a "click the box for 20% off" special at the time. At either price it is one of those great times where the phrase "You get what you pay for", doesn't work to describe the purchase.... IMO, you get much more value than what you pay. Many ultrathin, ultralight notebooks have relatively few peripheral plugs. I have a 14" Lenovo thinkpad Carbon X1 that comes in at 2.4 pounds, and tapers as you move towards the front to approx 1/4 of an inch. Given that it starts at approx 0.5 inches (closed), there is not much room for many USB ports or other peripheral plug-ins. At home, not a problem because I have a Thunderbolt 3 docking station that everything plugs into. Not the case when on the go... I need a 2nd monitor (I have a portable HD monitor and often require more ports than I need. This product is just great and I love the fact that I plug my USB-C power source into this, and then plug this into my notebook, which provides power to the additional ports so you can actually charge your mobile phone, Bluetooth earbuds, etc.I looked at many of these products...it is almost difficult to shop on Amazon at times. But after looking at the various options, carefully reading capabilities, limitations, and reviews, I landed on this one... and I highly recommend. I have already sent the link to this item to a few people and I just purchased a few days ago! Just buy it!

iPad Pro to TV/Monitor
This is a very neat looking bit of kit. Well made and looks great. I have adapted a 32" Panasonic TV to become an iPad Pro monitor and routed the sound to studio monitor speakers via a Scarlet 2i2 audio interface. Made all the connections and, BOOM, it worked first time.Home studio is now complete.

Works perfectly with Lenovo Thinkpad
Using this with a Lenovo Thinkpad Carbon X1 5th edition for a home office. Works perfectly with 65W power in, HDMI out to a monitor and USB devices plugged in, and charges the laptop. Small enough to take with you if needed. Very happy.
