I read that L-Tyrosine was an important amino acid for dopamine production. I went through a phase of seriously craving chicken. Very annoying as I didn’t eat meat. But discovered chicken is a great source of L-Tyrosine. Bought this and the cravings eventually subsided. Also seems a little easier to feel motivated to do things.

So i discovered L tyrosine during research into stress management energy and focus using Nootropic supplements. Its an amino acid found in foods and is used by the body for production of dopamine and brain neurotransmitters. I've used it in conjunction with other supplements both with and without and I can definitely say it does make a difference with energy focus, concentration and stress management. Stacks well with rhodiola rosea , acetyl l carnitine, vitamin d3 and full spectrum vitamin B. This stack deffo helps brighten the day up and gives me the focus needed to work during these horrid times.As far as I'm aware there are no horrible fillers or binders such as magnesium stearate (which is used by the factories to keep the product flowing along the pipework).my only criticism is the capsule which is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose..Otherwise very good product.

great item keeps you alert & motivated

i have adhd, diagnosed last year in my mid 30s. i take stimulant medication daily, but recently i wanted to do something more about my crashes in addition to getting on top of my food intake and my sleeping pattern (both very much help btw).i've only taken the tyrosine twice so far, both times split with 50% of the powder decanted into an empty capsule to make 2x250mg. i took one of these 2 hours after lunch as i was getting tired and losing focus. oh. my. god. my mood improved, my focus returned, and it was all really gentle. after the first day i didn't feel the need to take it on the next day, but today (the day after that) i did.i have some more experimenting to do - at some point soon i will take a normal 500mg capsule in the morning rather than my medication to see if this is something that i might take on days off of my meds. i will try to remember to update this review when i do (but i have adhd so unlikely!). for now though, the tyrosine is doing exactly the job i wanted it to do and i couldn't be happier.

This supplement was recommended to me by a friend. It’s helped significantly in maintaining consistent energy levels throughout the day, I suffer with hyper-focus and this is now controllable, for once in my life I’m on time, organised and have a calm brain!! I wouldHighly recommended this product. I started taking 1 tablet around 10am and after 6 weeks increased to two tablets, on Sundays I only take one otherwise I’m too productive for my ‘lazy Sunday’Try it and you will not be disappointed 😆The only major flaw for me, I noticed once my first box ran out (2nd had already arrived) is that the box containing the supplements is NOT recyclable - this is a bit of a deal breaker for me and if packaging changes are not sustainable I will be switching to a more eco friendly brand.

I take 2 a day have been for the last few weeks I'll be honest does absolutely nothing

I'm used to buying the acetylated version yet found this not only cost effective it works very well. Best used following a bad night of sleep or during periods of low mood. If you use it when you do not need supplementation of tyrosine it will seemingly do nothing. If you use it when you do require supplementation it will literally feel like a wonder drug.
