I was initially a bit hesitant to order glass jars of pasta sauce online, but buying this on Amazon was incredibly convenient and they arrived perfectly intact, securely wrapped in bubble wrap. As for the sauce itself, it is hands down the best jarred red sauce I have ever tasted. It has a rich, authentic flavor with the perfect balance of garlic, tomatoes, and olive oil. Unlike so many other brands, it isn't overly sweet and tastes exactly like it has been simmering on a stove all afternoon. It is a bit more expensive than the standard supermarket options, but the quality of the ingredients makes it entirely worth it. I highly recommend keeping a few jars in the pantry for a quick, delicious dinner on busy weeknights!

I really love this sauce. The flavor is so good and tastes fresh without being overly sweet or artificial. One of the things I like most is the ingredient list. My friends tell me about Rao and lo and behold they were right. This sauce taste just like homemade. I must say it tastes as good as mine. I use it all the time now when it's just for the family and not making it for a whole load of people.

so better sauce in the universe. I'm a chef since 1987....work with tons of cooks and chefs and went to many people's Nana's Sunday dinners......this is the best sauce I ever tasted. You can even stretch it out with crushed tomato which also helps with the cost.

I like the sauce, but the jar is much smaller than I had expected and too pricey for the small jar

I use this as a base sauce. I add olive oil, garlic, garlic powder, granulated onion, salt & pepper, oregano and simmer for 30 minutes. This is the best jar gravy to use when you don’t have the time to make your own.

I've never tasted a marinara closer to restaurant quality than this one. This is NOT a Pasta Sauce. It's a Marinara Sauce, like the one you get when you order Mozzarella Marinara from a restaurant. Perfect for dipping hot, breaded Mozzarella Sticks!!
