My son had lost most of the balls for hungry hippo these came in and work great!

The media could not be loaded.  If you’re like me it drives you crazy when game pieces go missing. Hungry hungry hippo stands no chance. It’s a game meant for toddlers without the proper storage receptacle. Just order the extra balls and do yourself a favor..

We got this product because we got a used game with no balls for free from a neighbor. They work for the most part, however, they are not quite a smooth round ball like in the promotional pics. That ridge they have on two sides causes them to get stuck in the hippos "throats" as show in my photo, so some players will automatically lose because the balls get stuck and then they cant chomp more. Hungry hippos is a loud fast paced game and as a parent, I really don't need the extra drama of stuck balls too. So expect tears and to teach your kiddos that the game doesn't count if one person had an unfair disadvantage thanks to stuck balls. SIGH. But these worked far better than blue marble like ones that also came up for my "hungry hippo replacement balls" and were absolutely too large. So for a second try, they are acceptable. At least they can play the game, though there's a bit more ...excitement... than I would have liked due to the poor quality shape.

These are solid plastic balls, 1/2 inch in diameter. They contain small indentations, but remain circular in shape. I got them for my slingshot, to annoy but not injure squirrels. They seem perfect for this. They are durable. I shot one in my garage, and although it careened off the concrete floor and walls, the ball remained intact. I can’t tell you their impact on squirrels yet, but they seem light enough to be promising.

They aren't perfectly round and they feel like super cheap plastic, so I gave less stars for that, but they totally work great in the hungry hungry hippos! Very happy with this product. Thank you.

They work great! Pricey! But what we needed to play Hungry Hippo. My grandson loves the game.

There are dimples in every ball, it is weird but they work for what I bought them for which was to replace missing balls from a hungry hungry hippos game.

A bit larger than the original hungry hippo balls but still a good replacement. Work perfectly fine.
