Q: what is the drying time on this varnish

The Sadolin Yacht varnish is a solvent based product, the product is dry and recoatable after 16 hours , this is based on a temperature of 18 degrees C with good airflow. lower temperatures and a lack of airflow during the drying /curing period will dramatically extend the drying /curing time of the product.

Q: Is this also suitable for indoor use?

This is an external grade product not suitable to be used internally - Polyurethane Varnish is for internal use - CRM Team

Q: How long will this varnish last out side will it fade with uv light as I’m looking for a varnish that will last at least five years

Te product contains UV inhibitors to protect against against sun damage. However there is no specific guarantee as to longevity, As a general rule timber which south /west facing takes the most of the suns uv rays and so the rate weathering/ erosion is higher.
