I stumbled across this on Amazon one day and decided to check it out. We have a had a Mitsubishi Split Condenser installed on our home about 8 years. Its a great HVAC appliance that supplies heat and AC.I have always removed the air filters and cleaned those every season.I has no idea what was collecting inside the unit until I You Tubed a video on how to clean the Head Unit ( the part that is inside the home that blows the air). Wow! Gross!These type of units do a great job at heating the space as long as ambient air temps do not dip below 0 degrees. They move the air very well. The removable filters are easy to clean and should be done before every heating/cleaning season.The issue arises after the cooling season. These units excel at cooling and dehumidification. During the cooling mode, there is a constant flow of condensation that collects on the coils. The design allows this moisture to drip into the condensate pan where it is then pumped out via the condensate tube to the outside. So far so good.The tubular cage that moves the air also blows the moisture on the coils all over the inside of the unit and the cage. After a while the moisture soaks any dust particles and starts harboring a black mold everywhere. You can not observe it by casual observation.This buildup then dries out when not cooling and once the heating mode starts up again, this gunk then get baked on to a hard crust until the cooling cycle resumes.With all the mini splits out there now, I would wager very few folks are even aware that these must be cleaned every year after the cooling season.This product is very inexpensive and works great! it should last through many cleaning cycles. If you're not mechanical then this may not be a do-it yourself process.I didn't spend money on the over priced coil cleaning products recommended. I bought a spray bottle of Spray 9. This stuff works great and actually is one of the best all around cleaners and disinfectants. It is great at killing dozen's of pathogens, including MERS, SARS and other Covids. The stuff is a bargain. Once you set everything up and have the unit disassembled, you just liberally spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes and then proceed to rinse it off with warm water and a garden sprayer. You Tube this to learn more about how it's done.Highly recommended to keep the air in your home clean and keep your split systems running well.

It worked perfectly. It did the job

My house has all concrete walls, tiled floors, and I used to just let the spray run down the wall and then mop up the floor after cleaning the upper wall mounted mini-splits. This product is a heavy duty material, with strong elastic to fit a variety of sizes ( I bought the large). After removing the door/frame from the unit, slip this over, and run the hose into a 5-gal bucket. I tried a smaller bucket and the weight of the water pulled the hose out and spilled on the floor, oops! I may cut the hose to fit, so it doesn't coil inside the bucket, since all of my units are at the same height on the wall. Overall I am pleased with the product, and recommend, especially for homes with drywall and carpets.

Realized that I was long overdue to clean my Mitsubishi Mr. Slim AC/Heating ductless unit. This kit was intuitive to setup, easy to use, and did exactly what you would expect. Used this in combination with the Arm & Hammer HVAC Coil cleaner and I was amazed at how much debris and dirt had built up over the last few years. Definitely recommend this kit to keep the cleanup process clean. Also, seems to be very durable so plan on using this each year going forward!

Very easy operating, and after done the job everything very clean, don’t need to clean the wal.

This product is made of excellent materials. The vinyl is hearty and the application is easy to slip over wall aircon unit. Affix drain hose to funnel any rinse water into a bucket. Use the clear splash cover at your leisure but not necessary. Follow the simple instructions. Protects the wall from coil cleaning emulsifier. I apply coil cleaner with a garden sprayer. I use the no rinse type coil cleaner in the humid Singapore environment. Be careful not to bend the aluminum fins on the coil. Do not forget to flush the condensation drain line of the wall unit; it can get plugged with scum. Condensation water will back-up and run onto the floor if you fail to flush the drain line. Use a balloon pump or air bubble to flush it down or use a wet-vacuum to suck it out from the drain outlet. Rinse the Cover Bag with water, hang it out to dry.
