Are these shorts soft material ? They look new style to my other brand shorts. Who can tell me that I won't regret this purchase?

They are soft. They are for warm weather and they will whisk water away. Very light weight. they are made from nylon and polyester.

Is the pocket enough to hold the cell phone?

Will the pockets keep water out and my electronics safe from evil water?

For incidental rain showers, it will probably keep them safe enough to get to shelter. I would not depend upon just the pockets of these shorts to protect my electronics for prolonged periods. If it’s raining or looks like I may end up in the rain for awhile, I put my phone on a plastic ziploc bag.

What’s the material it’s made of? Is it durable?

Dear Customer, Thank you for your reaching to us. The material is made of 90% Polyester fabric/10% Spandex. They are lightweight and comfortable. Yes, they are durable. XKTTAC
