This is an excellent little torch. I'm glad I read the other reviews as it is smaller than you expect from the photos. Having said that its very bright and lightweight. Cant fault it at all. I'm not sure in retrospect that this was the correct thing to buy however. With traditional lights as long as the batteries don't leak you can shove them in a draw for years and then come the emergency they will work fine. With rechargeables they tend to loose their power just sitting there! So it will need to be re-charged from time to time in order to keep in a ready to use state.

It's always hand to have a torch nearby and this is the ideal size with a really bright light.

Ideal compact hand lamp. Certainly more than bright enough for every day use. If I had to make the slightest of criticism it would be that the off position is in the central position with the main torch light one side of the off position & the small flood light the opposite side of the off position. The switch is so light in movement that it is too easy to turn the main torch light off & bypass the off position when finished with there by flattening the battery. However, value for money & practicality a good little item.

I use this almost every night to walk the dog. I hang it round my neck and use the lantern to see where I'm going and to pick up after my dog. The lantern setting is a good defused light and lets me see all I need without blinding my fellow dog walkers. Unlike the people wandering around with head torches who sear out your retinas when they look at you. I have been known to let the worst culprits know how if feels by changing from lantern to torch and giving them a blast back. :-)

I ordered this for my mum to keep an eye on her dogs in the garden in the dark !! She said it was smaller than she expected. I got to see for myself this week. I thought it was the same size as the regular yellow ones you see and it isn't. Quite a bit smaller but WAY better. It is really lightweight and I love it. I might get one myself. It has a strap on it and also lights up underneath. I told her to just charge it up once a week.......I thought it was a regular USB C cable, though and it isn't so I don't know where I'd get one of those. For this one my brother luckily had this type of cable knocking around and gave it to her.I'd say it's just like the big yellow ones but more a ladies' version !!

It's not a bad torch; very bright, but the beam is quite narrow. Battery life is adequate (not outstanding). I recently had to disassemble it as rain had gotten into the body, and was surprised to find that the front of the torch was made of glass (and not plastic as I'd assumed). Be careful when you're using it.

light not very good have only had it 8/9 months and the charger has stopped woking had also bought one for the wifes room and the main beam packed up so shes not happy either just cheap rubbish
