Very sturdy, very smooth. Light. Fits well in hand. Exactly the size I wanted. Glides against the skin perfectly safely for cutting bandages without any risk of cutting the patient. Not sure how getting a 2 pack was literally cheaper than getting a single, but can't complain about that. Gave the spare to my dad's home nurse and they appreciated it. Nurse said she liked this type of scissors specifically because the coating on it made it very easy to clean.

This Madison Supply Medical Scissors were the answer to my prayers when changing my wound bandage. They allowed me to cut through several layers of gauze bandages without cutting myself. I have had 4 pair of these. This is because I keep leaving them at my patients houses, however, I will keep buying them. They are sharp, easy to clean, and durable. My patients always want to know where I got them. They are perfect size for anything I need. Highly recommend.

so far I have used these scissors to cut gauze while treating a child patient's cut finger. They did successfully cut the gauze but not like sewing scissors would. I am firefighter and have been recently trained to take medical calls so these tools are a little new to me and I am unable to compare to what the paid ambulance service uses.

I needed some scissors that wouldn't poke me when removing bandages. The blunt nose is less scary than a sharp pointed craft type of scissors. They're plenty sturdy for the task and useful when needed to remove bandages. Good size also. Color and appearance are not critical when changing wound dressings. Store nicely with our family's "Boo-Boo" box of medicinal dressings and Band Aids.

I think these are the best shears hands down. I loathe those dainty little finger holes on regular scissors, I’ve got a beefy thumb, so I need a girthy thumb hole on my scissors/shears! This is the second time I’ve purchased them not because they’re not up to the job, but because these things are built like Panzer, tough as nails, black or green they are perfect for your field kit, very chic, very fashionable. All joking aside, the work very well, are easy to use, cut pretty much anything I have had to cut. I just think they’re awesome. I keep a pair in every vehicle I have just because they are so useful.
