This works very well. I deal with high Ph sue to aeration mostly and this product works great. I find its similarly priced to the smaller bags of the Clorox 5lb ph reducer but this has much more. Its harder to store than the bags if you have limited space. Yoi need your own scoop to use this product, it is not included. Overall, no issues.

It seems this is the chemical we use most in our salt water pool. This product dissolves as well as the more expensive ones I've used. It also takes the same amount to do the job so this really is the best bang for the buck I have found.

this is a must for me having a salt water pool as my ph is always high. a couple scoops from a 2 cup measuring cup gets m down from 7.8 to 7.2

This is my first year with a new plaster concrete 28K gallon pool. I’ve used muriatic acid before this and tried this dry acid. My alkalinity is kept between 70 - 110. I hit 8.2 ph weekly and two treatments of a half gallon of muriatic would last a week. 8 dry cups of this dry acid diluted in a 5 gallon bucket was as effective as half a gallon of muriatic acid. I had to do twice as many treatments a week of this than liquid muriatic acid and this $100 bucket lasted about a month. You’ve got to stir this a lot to dilute it. Muriatic acid is $10 a gallon. That’s $40 a month or more than half as much as this. I’m going back to muriatic. It was worth a shot.

So much easier to order here and have it delivered than to drive to the pool store and pick it up and haul it home. Same stuff, works fine, same solid packaging. Easy is a good thing.
