HERSHEY'S Natural Unsweetened Cocoa Containers, 8 oz (12 Count)

I bought Hershey Cocoa in bulk just once. This shipment arrived fresh, in tact with no damage to the containers. For 12 containers of the 8 ounce cocoa (the regular size you would find in the supermarket), this was a good price. I buy higher quality cocoa for other items from our food supplier, but for a lower -end projet, I wanted to use Hershey. This cocoa has a familiar, nostalgic flavor, color and scent, which is what I was looking for. If you're OK with Hershey, buying in bulk is a good choice.

Hershey's is the best American company to do cocoa and chocolate. I use this on my oatmeal. One teaspoon of cocoa, one teaspoon of Truvia. If I have a ripe banana I put pieces that in the oatmeal as well. And even if I don't, I'll put a tablespoon of almond butter or natural peanut butter in it for good fat and flavor. I'm happy that Amazon has this product that I can buy in bulk and save over getting it in stores. They always satisfy me for savings and quality over other sites. My mom uses this to make her chocolate cakes. Even though I'm on a low to no sugar diet, I might have a piece of that cake anyway. You've got nothing to lose getting this product if you love cocoa. Makes a great hot cocoa as well but I haven't tried it as of yet.

I bought six 8oz containers of this to mix with my protein shake each morning. First morning I went a little heavy on it and spent the day in chocolate nirvana. Spoke with the grand high puba of all things cocoa. He said limit it to a single heaping teaspoon of this powder and I've been enjoying it since. Good stuff. Taste great for what I need it for. Thanks Hershey! Also, to anyone in the north east or traveling through there... VISIT THE HERSHEY'S PARK! Just saying.

I was pleased to be able to order 6 containers of this cocoa because we go through it pretty fast. However, when I took the plastic-wrapped cans out of the shipping box (which was in perfect condition), there was cocoa all over the inside of the plastic. When I unpacked the containers, I found that one had a broken seal, and that's why there was cocoa all over inside the bag. Given how thoroughly these cans are usually sealed, and how hard they are to open, I was surprised to see the seal broken. Not sure how or why that happened, but want to put the warning out there. Also should note, that since this was all contained within the plastic bag, we still consider the cocoa usable.

As a public health doctor I have been consuming dark chocolate daily for years. Who doesn't love chocolate, and also derive the health benefits of the product? However, based upon research indicating the benefits of dark chocolate the consumer is being exploited by numerous very unhealthy products full of unneeded calories, primarily from additives and corn syrup. The benefits of chocolate are completely neutralized, and probably worse. This product only has 10 calories per serving. It can used in baking or having a daily chocolate drink. I use in it boiling water only, but if you are more traditional low-fat or skim milk works well. Just get used to not using SUGAR, and you will develop a taste for real unsweetened chocolate. Note: The dark chocolate version of this product has been chemically altered, and does not contain the same number of anti-oxidants

I buy 6 of these at a time because this is the best unsweetened cocoa available, and at the lowest price. I do prefer the regular cocoa, and not the "Dark" cocoa, as the regular has more of a natural, fresh and clean flavor. The Dark is too strong, bitter, and odd tasting. This cocoa has all the benefits of "chocolate" cocoa, but without the sugar, or other unwanted ingredients. I put this in coffee, and use Equal to sweeten it. I also use this for anything where I would normally use "chocolate," such as sprinkled on cheese and melted slightly in the microwave (it's delicious), or to make a hot chocolate drink, but without sugar. Keep the extra containers in the freezer, and they will last forever.

Perfect for keto cakes and hot chocolate

Great product but it arrived ina demaged packiging and some of the content was spilled inside of the apparently "protective bag." As a consequence, the handling of the product after opening the bag was uneasy resulting in loss of the most of the cocoa powder.

The package I received had cocoa powder external, as if it had been opened.
