They sound great! I was surprised. I replaced an older speaker that was larger on my G scale train with this one. Very pleased with the sound.

Sounds awesome, only downside is it's a thic boii. Wish it was half the thickness but beggers can't be choosers.

I needed a self enclosed low profile pair of speakers and these fit the bill mostly. The size is perfect, the sound is ok for the price, but the big issue for me is the lack of a lip on the sides of it. That means I have exposed edges for the case I put them in. I also hate the placement of the wires as when I was installing them I had a ton of trouble fitting them in without adding clearance. I didn't want to have to add clearance because then I would have even more exposed edges that wasn't covered by what little if a lip there is. I would have picked another speaker pair but this was the smallest self enclosed speaker with something of a lip.

The speakers are impressively loud for their small size. It can do what a radio speaker does in 1/10 the size. Will purchase again.
