Lavazza Gran Riserva Filtro Whole Bean Coffee Dark Roast 2.2LB Bag, 100% Natural Arabica, Authentic Italian, Cocoa and Caramel aromatic notes

Been using lavazza for a long time and really enjoy the Italian flair they imbue into their roasts. I generally use aroma e crema for my espresso which I find has nice chocolatey notes. Bought this one in the drip machine. Turns out when searching on the lavazza site, these blue/magenta or red roasts aren’t shown. AI searching says these are the commercial line so not sold on their consumer facing site. My wife wasn’t big on the “brown bag” espresso blends or super crema but she likes these roasts. We’ve tried a couple of these commercial blends and they’ve been very good. Hard to find a better coffee for the price.

I love it. Dark and smooth. I was looking for a less oily alternative to Starbucks cafe Verona for my super automatic expression machine and this one works. It is strong but doesn’t taste burnt.

I liked it smooth, not overly bitter like some brands. Good overall price too.

I don't enjoy many dark roasts but I literally can't get enough of this one. It has enough of a dark, robust, smooth, semi-complex flavor with a warm, soft caramel note. I add a little coconut milk powder to mine, which makes it even more exquisite

A very nice coffee in my drip machine. It's more of a medium roast than dark, I grind it medium-fine and it grinds clean. It has rich flavor and not acidic at all.

I absolutely love this coffee. I drank Starbux and Gevalia French roast for years. Gevalia being elusive lately, and I'm just sick of Starbux. It just isn't good anymore. Not for a long time... These beans have that rich, robust aroma and flavor you expect from top shelf coffee. I've had plenty of niche expensive beans but I was searching for a new daily driver. Something that's always available and not over the top expensive... This is it. My new coffee.

This is one, if not the best, coffee I've ever had. Always skeptical, but took a chance, and so glad I did. Say's it's a dark roast, but closer to medium. Zero bitterness, full body, and a caramel finish.

Wonderful coffee. Was served it at Ruth's Chris a few years ago, and while this blend is hard to find, it's worth the effort to search for and jump on every chance to buy it. Really a full bodied, smooth and delicious coffee.
