Fluval Water Conditioner for Aquariums, 500 ml

Very nice water conditioner for aquarium and I'm sure fishes will like it. Transparent and does not cloud the water. Suggestion that one cap in 15 ltrs of water tank so if water is double then double the qty also. But ensure the power filter and media is clean and runs on maximum power for some time for solution to get mixed completely. Once water is conditioned the tank need not be cleaned or refilled for 3 to 4 weeks but depends on type of fishes and ammonia, chlorine content in the water.

Really good, but for every water change if you are replacing 3/4 of the tank water then definitely use a heater. As this particular product bring down the PH balance is such condition and if the water is cold then the fish developed white spot on them. If a stable temperature is maintained then this one is fantastic and helps the fish to having healthy life and really see my goldfish with bright color.

Best water conditioner I have ever used for my aquarium. Though this is a bit expensive, but worth the money spent. It has all the instructions and a measuring cup, so you can accurately condition your water. I liked it and would strongly recommend for use in aquarium.

It does the job, and on the face of it, the larger bottle seemed like great value. Keeping fish can get expensive, so my priority as fish keeper is keeping costs down, I don't care for flashy packaging & keeping pointless marketing departments in a job.I thought this seemed better value than the brand my local pet store sells, but once I had it in hand I realised it is dosed at 10ml per 40L of water, rather than 10ml to 100L like the previous product I was using, which also came in a smaller bottle. Remember, a less concentrated product means more plastic waste and unnecessary increased costs in packaging, shipping and manufacture. Before you buy on the basis of value, be sure you calculate how many litres this bottle will treat, and compare with other brands.So I feel like I was cheated a little as I need to use 2.5x as much product for the same result which takes up more of my time too, but this entirely my fault for not checking the dose rate before clicking 'add to basket'.

Great for conditioning tap water for my 64L tropical aquarium.At a dosage of 10ml per 40L of water, a 500ml lasts a long time. We use Tetra Easy Balance weekly to minimise water changes. As such, I do a 40-50% water change once a month - using about 8ml of Aquaplus in the replacement tap water.We have no issues at all - my fish are healthy and enjoy the clean and safe water.

Always found fluval products work well hence purchase. Only grip is the instructions. 5ml per 1litres. Is that for the whole tank or just the water you replace. More instructions would be a big help. Now I'm left guessing

So iv used this after having to set up a new tank and needing to move the fish in immediately. It's worked well my water tests are coming back perfectly. My fish are showing no signs of any stress even my sensitive small clown loaches. Iv used this along side fluval booster cycle and fluval biological cleaner and all is well. I would recommend to keep testing water in a new set up as things can change quickly in the first couple of months!

Prompt ackowledgement and postage. Sent as a rolled up package - which in this case was fine as the bottle is fairly robust anyway. Product seems fine for the job. I use this for treating axolotl water. Thank you!Update: Yes. It does give a smell of egg each time once opened. Have talked about this on axi forums - and apparently it's normal! ..so just remember to stand back when you open it next time ;)
