This is my second purchase of this Coway Airmega 200M although the first was labeled Mighty AP-1512HH and other than the grill it's identical in every way. Very efficient and mostly quiet until it's on high but it moves a lot of air on high. I use the automatic mode so it normally runs on low until it detects something in the air and kicks up accordingly to the best speed to clear it.

I have lots of allergies, this is the best air purifier I’ve been able to get (full disclosure I can’t afford to try really expensive ones). It really seems to help, and I like the variety of settings and auto-detect feature. It is very quiet, until you get to level 3 (which is the one I use to help a whole room). Odor removal is okay, but doesn’t really do anything for stronger smells like from cooking for example.

Works pretty good. When I clean it the filter is full of dust. But there is still a dust film on my black counter tops every day.

I've had it for a month so far, and the improvement to my sleep has been very noticeable. I no longer wake up with dry eyes or a stuffy nose. The noise level of the medium fan speed is great. High speed is a bit loud, but it's not a grating noise so it's ok to have in the background, but I usually set it on high when I'm not going to be in my room for a while. The shape of it makes it easy to put anywhere in the room, it takes in air from the side and blows it straight up, so you can put it against a wall or a dresser or something. The filter is easy to change and everything you potentially need to service (like the sensor) are easy to access. If I have to complain about something, I really do wish it didn't have a glossy finish, it really shows all the dust stuck to it. I think a matte finish would look better long term. I will update this review in the future.

I consider my air purifier an essential part of structuring a good health plan. This is not the first Coway air purifier I purchased from Amazon. Keep the filters changed regularly, and it will last for years. My Coway is whisper quiet on low and I enjoy the chimes with the "on/off" button (I know I got the right button in the dark). The warning light from blue to red means my purifier communicates; signaling what could be an irritant, and clearing it immediately. The air filtration system is top notch. Clean water/Clean air are my "musts" in life. I am also lucky to live near Whole Foods and their water dispenser is pure heaven. When the wild fires started in the summer, I felt relaxed about it. Our air score was high: 194 for about a week straight, but I felt my lungs were clear and chest open. Good hydration and easy breathing work for me. Thank you Amazon and Coway!

I love this! I have had it for almost a year and love it enough that I came back to leave a review. We have a bunch of cats and multiple litter boxes. I have this unit set up right near the litter. When the cats go in and dig around, this magic box somehow senses the dust and odor in the air and automatically kicks into to super mode for like 30 seconds and poof, no dust and no smell. I don't know what kind of witch craft or fairy dust went into making these but it really does work! Worth every penny!

Had it for a year. Excellent. Today a I was spaying fabric protector on a new chair. The Coway, that we keep on auto, bumped up to high speed. Did the work from another room on the floor.

I was skeptical of air purifiers but recently did more research and decided to try one out. We have a huge Saint Bernard who tracks in a lot of dirt and all the surfaces in my home were getting so insanely dusty so I decided to see if an air purifier would help. I have a 2000+ square foot home and I'm pleasantly surprised at how much of a reduction in surface dust there is since using this air purifier. It's very quiet and sleek-looking. I keep it on automatic mode and the highest level is quite loud but it doesn't stay on high for very long and it doesn't bother us much. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase and it's really made a huge difference in my home.

Right from the start I noticed how much cleaner my room was. I live in a dusty area and was constantly cleaning dust off my furniture but that's now a thing of the past. The air in my room even smells cleaner. Some people have commented on the noise level at the highest setting but with the unit set to 'auto', the fan only switches to high speed when it senses the air is dirtier than usual, and then it only runs for a minute or two at that speed before switching to low speed again. I don't sleep well but it never wakes me up when it switches to high speed during the night. The only downside is that the control panel lights are far too bright for me at night, so I've had to cover them with a dark cloth, which isn't a big deal at all. It's just too bad that you can't turn the lights off and leave the unit running at the same time.

Purchased this as I live in a small apartment with two lovely, but smelly cats. I've only had it running for about 24 hours and holy smokes, the air feels FRESH AGAIN! I can't speak to the durability, but will revisit with an update this time next year. So far, would very much recommend.

The wildfires are what pushed me to finally get an air purifier, but being a pet owner alone, would have been enough incentive. This is decently priced for how powerful and well-made it is. However, it started to make me sneeze like crazy, and I’ve read that this is common with Ionizer’s, so I did end up returning it. Though I never switched that function on, as it can be an irritant for people, and potentially dangerous for pets, apparently any units with that option can tend to irritate more sensitive people. Something to consider, if you’re on the fence.
