Hans Zimmer Collection: Piano Solo & Piano/Vocal

Great set of music, super fun!

I've been playing piano for most of my life, and I'd consider myself at a moderate level. The music in this book is at a perfect difficulty level for me. It isn't too tough, but it isn't easy enough to play it perfectly on the first sitting. You'll have to practice the songs for a bit (but not too long), but once you get it down it all sounds brilliant. It perfectly captures the essence of Hans Zimmer's awesome music, and including a wide range of his music from Gladiator to Man of Steel. I would have preferred some different songs to some of the ones included, but that's just me. All in all, you'll have a blast playing through it all.

Great book

Realize level of difficulty is subjective, but doesn't have all the 'fullness" of chords & notes had hoped for. Admit biased having some pieces in other arrangements much 'truer" to the original score. Some reviewers indicated this book for more advanced players just don't see that. Suggest if you like a piece here but feel like it's "missing" something try the same song in a different, more complex arrangement. Appears that one may have to purchase some pieces individually to get a more complex arrangement.. While these relatively simplistic arrangements don't replicate the full dynamics of Hans Zimmer's compositions, some may enjoy these arrangements.

Super high quality, would recommend to experienced and beginner piano players who are fans of Hans Zimmer. I know that a lot of people who purchased this are upset at the lack of “essentials” but honestly you can go purchase those pieces at Musicnotes anyways. So people please stop complaining. You still get some of Hans Zimmer’s core pieces. Please buy this book it’s amazing. And would definitely recommend learning “Corynorhinus” first.

Several classics, Hans Zimmer is unrivalled amongst movie themes!

If you love Hans, buy this book!

Missing songs from Interstellar, only one song from Pirates?! Several pieces are duplicates of each other, so that's a pretty cheap move from the publishers. If this is supposed to be the definitive collection it falls short by a mile. The couple memorable pieces that ARE in the book are good, there's just too few of them. Too many themes from lesser known movies that were probably cheaper for the publisher to buy the rights to. It's a thick book, but it's stuffed with filler and redundant pieces, several that are just different versions of the same themes. Definitely seems like a half-effort, cash grab by the publisher. Not recommended, a more complete collection can probably be found elsewhere.

Super awsm paper quality i deduct one star only for late delivery btw the product is only for piano lovers and hans fans ..!

Got this as a Christmas gift for my brother who loves Hans Zimmer. He was super happy with it and I even played some of the pieces myself. The songs were just right for an intermediate level pianist and were very recognizable. All in all, recommend!
