Replacement CPU Cooling Fan for ACER Predator Helios 300 G3-571 G3-571G DFS541105FC0T FJN1 DC5V Series Laptopa

I was a bit worried when I first ordered these, because I wasn’t 100% sure if they would work with the 2018 Helios 300, there weren’t many reviews yet, and no pictures to actually be sure of what I was getting I took my time replacing these and everything turned out perfect the blades aren’t metal like the OEM ones but after running some stress tests my temps are better than ever and I don’t hear anymore grinding noises which is great, I would like to note that for the thermal paste I used thermal grizzly kryonaut which I highly recommend, one thing that is good to know is there is some tape adhering to the other side of the fan, I recommend taking extra care when removing it, I actually ended up making a clean cut with a box cutter and just removing the tape that was on the fans as neatly as I could when I replaced the fans I carefully put some 3m electrical tape on to replace that which is probably unnecessary but I did it anyways

Before installing the fan completely, I plugged it into the motherboard, powered the laptop on, and confirmed that it spun right up and ran smoothly and quietly. This seems like a great fan. Too bad I ordered the wrong one. Totally my mistake. When I saw its shroud wasn't right for my Acer, I tried make it identify as the right fan. I modified it slightly, but when I got to a point where I realized it just wasn't going to work, I stopped. Too bad I wasn't careful enough during ordering. Can't blame the product or the seller, hence the good review. I also won't attempt a return it since I modified it ever so slightly.

I needed it to be the right fit and it works wonderfully. No loud noise anymore.

This is actually the second order I placed for this fan. So it starts off, my laptop eventually starts sounding like a jet engine. Not because of the fan speed, but because of how broken the fan was. Initially, I thought only one of the fans was going out because PredatorSense consistently showed one at max speed (6122 rpm). So I placed an order for this fan and some thermal paste, Arctic MX-4. The swap went perfect. The computer noise went down, cooling temps were in the 70s while gaming. I should have been prepared for what happened next.Almost 2 weeks go by, and the jet engine noise is back again. This time, PredatorSense is showing the other fan slow and stuttering, and the new replaced fan at max RPM. I'm so mad I didn't just replace them both while I had it apart. To finish my review, I recommend replacing both fans if you are going to be getting in there to replace one. The whole project each time took me about 25-30 mins, just because I was being really cautious.Lastly, don't be cheap. Do not try and swap the fan without taking off the heat sink, cleaning the old thermal paste, and applying new. Chances are you won't be able to get the fan out without unsetting the heat sink anyways.Hope this helps.

Bought this replacement CPU fan in 2021 and replaced it in 2024 with the exact same fan. OEM lasted a year and failed. This is my son's computer and he has the fans running almost full tilt 24/7.

One of the fans of my laptop some how bended so it made a lot of noise or just didn't work. These worked great. When buying replacements you may want to consider if you want plastic or metal fans.

It says that this fan is for the Helios 300. It does fit in that laptop, but it only has uses one of the two vents built into that side of the pc. The original fan had an opening for the back and side.

The appearance seems just like the fans I removed from my Acer Predator Helios 300, probably the same model. I replaced my old fans that would grind and stop, and the new ones are running smoothly and silently, although it's only been for a few hours so far.The replacement process itself made me a bit nervous, but was straightforward when watching YouTube videos as a reference. Make sure you have fresh heat-conducting putty on hand to apply to the heatsink when you open it up.
