Great Value for the Product and a match to the one I already had

This is well made and was easy to install. Also came with a coax cable with connectors to protect the CATV feed. Great company history.

All my home entertainment equip runs through this protector. No problems as yet nor do I expect any. The wall plug could have been designed a bit smaller as it crowds any side outlets if you have a multi side by side outlet installed.

My electric co-op recommends these exact model surge protectors to protect everything that a whole house surge protector can't: specifically anywhere cable comes in through a wall. So the whole house protector covers surges coming through the power lines and this protector covers the rest of your entry points. What I really love about this is that I paid $21 each for these through Amazon. My utility co-op charges $90 each for the exact same model: the PM8-AV and they say they sell them at their cost. I've suggested they should start getting them through Amazon.

Seems to be a very good quality. I had another brand that was also expensive, but I believe it saved my electronicsfrom damage due to a lightning strike. I went to a Best Buy to buy another one, and an Associate working there toldme this brand is much better, so I decided to buy this. Hopefully it will fully protect my equipment during the nextserious storm.

Amazon thought my last review did not meet their guidelines. I will, therefore, keep my review short and simple. The product being reviewed is not high quality and has the potential to burn the internal electronics which happened twice in my case to two individual PM8-AV outlets. Panamax is a good company, but I suggest buying a higher quality Panamax surge protector.
