Cheaper than Traxxas, just as good. I wanted something to be strong and act as an extra heat sink to help dissipate the heat on VXL Rustler 4 X 4. I got tired of waiting for Traxxas and local hobby shops to have one in stock, and saw this one. It came in a few days and I love it. Highly recommend!

Hot Racing LCF38X06 review...
Overall high quality robust machined part. The benefit of it acting as an additional heat sink is great. I've removed one star because I had to tap deeper threads into the hole that the motor pinion adjustment screw threads into.

Put in my custom vxl rustler 4x4,running 6s no problems

Best upgrade for slash
Fixes my number one problem with the slash, the weak motor mount design. This eliminates any flex between the pinion gear and slipper clutch and the stupid 3mm locknut that holds the motor plate in place. Also dissipates heat pretty well along with the oversized bearing it’s awesome.

Excellent part
Very nice quality and fits perfectly. The blue is a lighter shade than Traxxas blue, but that doesn't bother me at all. It is a shame 90% of this is hidden once installed as it is very nice looking.

Looks nice at least. Probably wouldn’t recommend
Mine didn’t seem to fit that great. Holes seemed a bit off for mounting. The bearing is bigger than stock, so when it wears out you’ll have to source a new one. The hole for my motor mount screw seemed to either have something stuck in it, or it wasn’t tapped properly. My screw snapped in the hole and I can’t get it out. Shoulda ordered the Traxxas one I suppose.
