Brilliant bottles - better than the smaller 800ml. I use the Science in Sport tropical electrolyte and strawberry recovery (protein included) drinks - these were a pain to funnel into the 800ml bottles due to the thinner neck, however these (1000ml) are perfect. If you're using supplements the scoops just drop straight in. I need two bottles to sustain a full body workout, hour on bike and 30 mins on rower, perfect for the gym so you don't need to carry around a 2 litre bottle of something... also perfect for cyclists, course there is a slight added weight but it should do you for a 2 hour cycle. Doesn't leak if you, you know, screw it on properly... cap at the top is rigid however if you do somehow pull it out, it slots back in fine. There's lots of bottles out there for the creatine and muscle building brigade who consume copious amounts of protein and fillers; this will do the job for that but is also perfect for the real athletes out there ;)

Did not resemble the bottle I already have, poorly fitted lid, spout is stiff and gets stuck

Got these the other day their wicked. Make sure the top is screwed on though. I have one for bed and the other for gym.... works well!
