ProsThe case does fit the chip card reader. If you press on the bottom of the case the reader will come out of the case (like an Otterpop.) ...and it is cheap!ConsIt is very cheaply made and as low as it costs, it would be overpriced if it were not for the fact that shipping is included.It is a flimsy grade of leather that may not hold up. The whole thing is held together by the snap. There isn't a single stitch in it. It is bound to wear out quickly. The key ring is very poorly placed. It is in line with the "dip" slot of the reader and can easily go into the slot and break the reader, especially when it is in your pocket attached to your keys. A simple stitch or a very small ring to hold the key ring above the reader and close to the leather, or better yet, a simple flap of leather running the width of the pouch under the ring so it is between two flaps of leather would resolve the potential major costly problem that is bound to come up when you need the reader the most.

Prefect little fit on my keyring. Cant misplace it anymore!

Perfect fit for the chip reader.

These pouches are a perfect fit for the newer PLUG-IN Square EMV chip readers, not to be confused with the forthcoming (as of 1/2016) Bluetooth-enabled Square EMV readers. There is a foam insert inside the pouch into which the 3.5mm TRRS plug fits, essentially securing the reader and preventing it from falling out, even if you were to inadvertently leave the snap unfastened. Since the readers no longer come free, it's worth it to protect your little investment, albeit not a bank-breaker.
