I had a hankering for a chewy fruity candy. I usually go for Starburst, but I didn't want the artificial colors. Plus, Starburst flavors are so powerful that they end up hurting my mouth. So I did some research and I found Hi-Chews. I debated for quite some time about this. Should I really spend $11 on some candy? It seems extravagant. What if I don't like it? Needless to say, I bought them. Now my life will never be the same. While these little gems were in transit, I happened to go to the store and saw a small pack of Mamba fruit chews in the check out aisle. In my search for the perfect chewy fruit candy, Mamba and Hi-Chew seemed to be the top contenders. Naturally, I had to snatch up the Mamba right away to try them out. Upon tasting the Mamba, I was terribly disappointed. The orange was good. It resembled an orange Starburst quite a bit. The lemon was so-so. The strawberry was disgusting. I was starting to get concerned that Hi-Chews wouldn't live up to their hype either. But then they were dropped on my doorstep by the mailman. One taste and I was hooked. Every flavor is delicious. If I had to rank them, green apple would be my favorite, then grape, strawberry, and lasty mango. But really, who is playing favorites? These things are just plain good! I'd read some complain that the grape Hi-Chew tasted somewhat like grape medicine. I didn't find they to be true at all. If I had to compare the grape flavor to anything, I'd say it tasted more like grape Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape, which is also amazing. Long story short... I've had my bag of Hi-Chews for exactly one day and I think they're half gone.

A co-worker and friend from work introduced me these, and they are delicious. I find the history of them to be a little absurd (it's on the package). The idea that Japanese culture is too prissy to allow removing a chewed piece of gum from the mouth, but they're completely au fait about smacking your lips while you chew candy "like a cow chewing it's cud" is nothing short of laughable. That notwithstanding, it's a great candy, and a satisfying chew. I'm not a big fan of the grape flavour--too much Dimetapp Elixir decongestant as a child--but those who like that flavour say these are very nice. The mango are fantastic, the green apple and strawberry are great.

This candy seriously is so juicy and flavorful! I really do love it!!! While I am studying for my next nursing exam I find myself eating tons of these! Not only do I love them by my sister and friends love them as well! Also for many you get in a bag its an amazing deal because I have seen where u get not even a quarter of the amount of candy you get for the incredible deal! It is made from gelatin (pork) so my Muslim best friend couldn't eat them but he said they look amazing! I will repurchase these again when I run out!

My absolute favorite soft, gummy chewable candy. But I can never find this bag in bulk, even at large Asian grocery stores like H-Mart or Lotte. So when I found this on Amazon, I had to buy it. these candies come individually wrapped, so they stay fresh and chewy and never go stale or hard. They're great to toss a couple in your purse and carry it around with you for a sweet-tooth craving, or to put out in a bowl at your office to share!

I received it on a Tuesday, ate all 100 pieces by myself in 2 days. I ate them at home, driving to work, at work, and leaving work. Anyone reading this should buy not just 1, but multiple orders of this. I suggest 5-10 bags to get you started. That's almost 1000 pieces of Hi-Chew!! I also recommend unwrapping every single piece, putting the hi chew back in the bag so then you could literally put your hand in there and grab maybe a hand full of them and eating them all at once. Every flavor was awesome!!! The texture of starburst, but the taste of heaven. Fin

My sister put me on to this candy. The taste takes getting used to but you'll end up loving them. My order arrived in a black sealed bag, which is different from what is pictured. They weren't pre packaged with made me apprehensive at the time but I was willing to give it a try. So now that the bag I ordered is done, what I can say is that this is definitely not pre-packaged and sealed. My favorite flavor is the mango. The majority of the candy was strawberry, next apple, then grape. There were a couple melon, a few banana, which I didn't know they had. If this is a variety pack the flavors are not distributed evenly. I am not sure if I will buy again for this reason alone.

Tasted fine. They're chewy, but not as chewy as gum. Not something that I would buy again to eat for fun, but they were good to fill up goodie boxes. The flavors are okay.

Can I just say I'm obsessed with Hi-Chew? Best candy ever. It's like Starburst but better. Every single flavor is awesome. I hate when I buy certain fruity candy's I have to throw out the lemon and orange because I HATE IT. You don't have to worry about that here! The mango one was especially good. I threw this bag in my pantry and it was great to be able to scoop a bunch up and throw them in my purse for the workday! Buy them, you won't regret it.
