I recently bought the Yinke hard case to pair with my SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD (2 TB version) and I’m very impressed with how well it protects and organizes the drive. The fit is excellent—designed specifically for the SanDisk Extreme/Extreme Pro line—so my SSD sits snugly without any wobble inside. What I like: The shell on this case is sturdy EVA material that feels rigid enough to handle being tossed into a tool bag or backpack without worrying about crushing my SSD. The interior has a soft lining and a built-in mesh pocket for accessories (cables, adapter, etc.). It keeps everything in one place and avoids the floppy “case with nothing inside” feel. It carries really well. The case includes a strap and is compact enough to slip alongside other gear rather than dominating my bag. On job sites or while traveling, it gives me peace of mind that my SSD and data are protected from drops, dust and minor impacts. Some things to know (caveats): It only fits up to two SSDs & their cables (as designed), so if you have a lot of accessories or non-SanDisk branded drives, you might find the space a little tight Though the outer shell is tough, it’s not fully “military-spec” rugged—if you constantly drop it from very high heights or submerge it, you may still want a more heavy-duty case. There are limited color options (mostly black/orange versions) so if you’re looking for a wide variety of aesthetics, choices may be fewer. The price is modest for what it offers, but of course the case doesn’t include the SSD itself (just as a reminder for buyers). Bottom line: If you own the SanDisk Extreme/Extreme Pro Portable SSD (or similar compact high-performance drive) and you want a smart, well-built case that protects your investment and keeps your gear organized — this Yinke hard case delivers. For the price it’s a solid accessory. I’d recommend it to anyone who carries their SSD between jobs, travel, or simply wants better protection than the bare drive in a bag.

I was looking for a new external hard drive when one of my clients recommended the Scandisk 2TB model. As I was looking at different options, I also noticed this "hard case" that is made for the Scandisk drive. I went ahead and ordered both items. The case came in first, separate from the drive, so I was able to look over and play with it to kind of give it a "test run". The outside of the case feels and looks good "for a hard plastic", the zipper is very smooth and actually gives the case a nice appearance when closed up. There is added padding on the inside, for us clumsy people, and a little pocket to store the cord and maybe a credit card or driver's license if needed. A little "mini" clip is included, but I am not even thinking about using it, why temp the baddies with some they can just yank off your belt loop or purse. This is definitely one of those "add-on" items I am glad I picked up.

This case is the perfect size and weight for carrying the external hard drive. Seems to be a durable case. The functionality is great. It is worth the price to keep my external hard drive safe.

Awesome! It fit perfectly. I love this color cos it matches my disk. I’ve been looking for this a while now. I had a black one, but I wasn’t satisfied with it. There was nothing wrong with it, but I just wasn’t satisfied. I’m glad I found this one. Good value for the money. Compatible with my disk. Not too bulky. Highly recommend! It’s good protection. It’s padded on the inside.

I purchased this to keep my SanDisk External hard drive safe while in my backpack on photoshoots. It has a nice stretching band to hold it in place, with a padded divider separating the net that holds the instructions with the cords that come with the actual External hard drive. This is one of the reasons I decided to purchase this item because it holds everything in one place making it a great value for the money. The outside has a rubberized surface which keeps it from sliding around on a smooth surface like a desktop. There is a zipper the is easy to use. No issues with it not closing. The quality is exceptional. It weighs next to nothing empty or with the external hard drive inside. I like the color because it will be easy to identify in a bag full of equipment with the bonus of a small lanyard to clip it in place if you decide to do that. With or without the lanyard, it makes it versatile for finding it easily. It fits my SanDisk Extreme Pro very snuggly. I would say it is perfectly compatible with the small SanDisk Hard drive. I bought this case for my 2TB SanDisk Extreme Pro and the fit is great. I like the little pocket that holds the cables in place. The space inside is wide enough, it doesn't seem like the cables are pressed up against the SSD. The zipper on cases like these must be really tricky to sew into place. Every case I've ever bought with a perimeter style zipper seems to have a corner where the zipper pulls back from the corner either while opened or closed and makes it a little tight to get the zipper to zip until it's broken in. Women with long nails beware - in order to remove the SSD from this case, you have to be able to get your fingers under the side just enough to pry it out of the snug form fitted space. There's a finger notch to put your finger under the SSD but it's still a bit tricky to get out. Might also be a challenge if you have really large hands. Overall, if I were to know all this before buying it, I'd still buy it. It's a nice case and will do exactly what I need. Protect the SSD. The only thing I'd like to see is a security lock zipper on the case. That would be a nice feature to have but I didn't downgrade the rating because it doesn't have one. The 4 star instead of 5 star rating is because of the minor imperfection of the zipper and the corner fit.

Nice, sturdy case. Made very sturdy with good protection. Small enough to fit in my bag and very convenient to carry. Lightweight.

It seems super durable and works perfectly with my Sandisk SSD. Very happy with it, especially for the price!

Looks to be well made, that fits nicely with the drive. The soft interior looks to provide good protection for the drive. Just hope it really as good as it looks.
