This cable works perfectly
I needed a cable to carry stereo signal from a TRRS audio plug to the lightning port on my iPhone or iPad for video recording. This cable does exactly what I need and I've used it every week since purchasing it. Some of the other reviews said that the cable does not work at all but I suspect that those folks were trying to use a TRS plug instead of a TRRS. (If you're not sure of the difference between a TRS and a TRRS plug, you should definitely learn the difference before you purchase this - or any - audio adapter.)

Works in some apps
For the love of God with somebody please tell me why this works fine with Voice Memos and Camera but not through Facebook live? I’m trying to send my mixers headphone output into my iPhone 8 - Does not work for Facebook live!

Dongle works primo!
Works perfect with the Voice Memo on my iPhone 7. Actually has worked with both cables of the BOYA, BY-MM1 microphone! I used with the old Apple dongle AND this one. Works beautifully!

Didn't work
Contrary to the product description, this did not work with an iPhone. I don't know if the problem is the adapter cable, the phone or the software, but in any event, it did not work with two different microphones. I tried using it with the iPhone's camera software (in video) and the Voice Memo app, but neither worked.

Funktioniert tadellos
Ich benutze den Saramonic Mikrofonadapter 3,5 mm TRRS in Verbindung mit dem comica BoomX-D PRO und kann beschreiben, dass die Verbindung tadellos ist und genau seinen Zweck erfüllt. Bestellung und Lieferung waren, wie schon seit langem von Amazon gewohnt, bestens.
