Oregon Professional Compact 230-Volt Bench Grinder

Does a good job at an affordable price. I have rehabilitated several chains, and the cost saving has now paid for this chain grinder.It's slightly fiddly to set up, but once done it works really well. I have two chainsaws, one a big Husqvarna and the other a smaller Oregon electric chain saw for bucking. My chosen 'locked' settings on the grinder are fine for both.Recommended, if you do a moderate amount of chain saw work... nothing beats a razor-sharp chain!

Works very well, sharpens chains like new. Bit fiddley to set up but more than worth it. All in all a good tool & I'd buy another if I had to.

Works well once you know the quirks. When switching sides on the cutters, you need to measure the side you just done and reset it, as it takes more off one side of cutters than the other side and vise versa…does get quite annoying. Hope that makes sense. Also the mechanism that grips the chain is not great although useable. Apart from that great for getting sharp chains especially your 10° milling chains that need to be sharp…

a great bit of kit at a very good price

It's a two-way street it's bigger and better but it's heavier. It does a fantastic job long as you remember to alter it to the correct settings. Ideally you could do with a swivel bracket that clamps into a voice. So you can hang it up out away or put it on a Shelf at the way then grab it to you and clamp it in a voice and Away you go. I have made my own swivel brackets that fits the Machine and The Voice.

Great product. Relatively easy to set up and use. Great results so far. Chains like new after grinding Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Now that it has been used in anger, it has worked well. Clearly as with all equipment of this type, it is critical to ensure that your technical details are set correctly before use.

Afilado muy preciso y fácil de usar.Requiere al principio tener claro los ángulos y configuración a usar para la cadena que tengamos. Pero una vez se tiene eso claro... es una auténtica MARAVILLA!!! Se afilan las cadenas muy rápido y de forma muy precisa.En mi caso tengo 5 cadenas y las afilo todas. Así simplemente cambio la cadena y sigo cortando casi como si fuese nueva después de afilar las con la máquina.Por ponerle una pega, no he encontrado los discos originales de repuesto en Amazon. Pero por ahora sigo con el que traía y sin desgaste notable

Das Gerät ist sehr gut, ich kannte es vom vor Jahren in der Firma.Der Zusammenbau ist nicht ganz selbsterklärend. Ich brauchte noch eine Stück Bohle zum anschrauben und einen Winkelverbinder. Jetzt lässt sich das Gerät tadellos händeln.Der Vorteil ist einfach, dass man die Sägeketten sehr vorsichtig anschleifen kann und damit die Ketten sehr lange halten. Die mechanische Variante gefällt mir sehr gut. Man muss eben beim Anschleifen von Sägeketten auch genau wissen was man tut. Die Winkel lassen sich gut einstellen und unterschiedliche Scheiben sind auch dabei. Ich bin mit dem Gerät sehr zufrieden, mache sehr viel Holz.Ich schärfe auch viel einfach mit der Rundfeile im Wald. Das Gerät ist vor allem gut für Ketten, die harte Zähne haben. Jedenfalls lohnt es sich so ein Gerät zu kaufen, wenn man etwas mehr Holz macht als für einen kleinen Kamin braucht.Insgesamt TOP.
