For the price, when on offer, you can't beat it
Honestly really pleased with these. The 1kg bag from NaturaleBio works out far cheaper per gram than the little 250g packets in the supermarket, and the quality is just as good, if not better. For the price, you can't really beat it. The nibs are properly crunchy and keep their texture well. I've been adding them to porridge, smoothies and homemade granola, and they hold up without going soft. The bag has a resealable zip, and even a few weeks in they're as crunchy as the day I opened it. No clumping at all, which I was a bit worried about with a bag this size. They stay loose and easy to scoop, with no sticky lumps or stuck-together bits, and nothing has gone stale. Sugar content is zero, as it should be with raw cacao. They're naturally bitter and intense, so if you're after something sweet, mix them into yoghurt or fruit. I love the dark, earthy flavour and it's a great way to get a chocolate fix without the sugar. On melting: they don't melt in warm weather or in the bag, and they don't go soft in warm porridge. They stay crunchy rather than turning into a gooey mess, which makes them great for baking too. Quantity-wise, 1kg is a LOT, and it's going to last me months. It's perfect for regular use, and it's much less wasteful than buying lots of smaller bags. Definitely buying again. Highly recommend!

Smooth, strong and excellent value for everyday use
I moved over to this after regularly using ceremonial cacao blocks, mainly because the cost of those blocks adds up quickly if you’re having it often. This has been a much more practical option without feeling like a compromise on quality. Texture: The powder is very fine and smooth. I’ve seen a few people say it doesn’t mix well, but I’ve had no issues at all. It blends easily with hot water as long as you give it a proper stir. No clumps for me. Taste: It has a deep, rich chocolate flavour. Slightly more bitter than ceremonial cacao, but that’s expected and actually works well, especially if you enjoy a stronger cocoa taste. I often add it to my coffee, and it gives a really nice change of flavour. Colour: A proper dark brown, exactly what you’d expect from good-quality cacao. It makes drinks look full-bodied rather than thin or watered down. Value for money: This is where it really stands out. You get a large amount, and it lasts much longer than blocks. Ceremonial cacao has a richer, creamier feel due to its higher fat content, but for everyday use, this is far more convenient. no chopping, grating or melting, just scoop and mix. Health: From a health point of view, it still offers strong nutritional benefits, being rich in antioxidants and fibre, a good source of magnesium, manganese and phosphorus, and containing natural compounds like theobromine that can help support energy levels and mood, making it a practical option for regular use. I’s a solid choice if you want something easy to use, good quality, and much better value for regular use.👍

Rich flavor
I dumped a spoonful into my morning smoothie last week and immediately noticed how dark it was. Mixed it in and took a sip. That's when I got what all the fuss was about. The chocolate flavor is genuinely rich and deep, nothing watered down or artificially sweet about it. It actually tastes like real cacao, which I guess is the whole point. I've been using it in smoothies, oatmeal, and a couple of baking experiments. Works great across the board. The flavor holds up well whether I'm blending it into something creamy or mixing it into dry ingredients. No weird aftertaste either, which I wasn't expecting at this price point. My one complaint is that it's definitely grittier than some other powders I've tried. Not a dealbreaker since a good blend takes care of it, but worth knowing upfront if you're planning to use it in something smooth. The 14oz bag feels small for the cost, but the quality is there and I'm generally satisfied with what I'm getting. If you want actual cacao flavor and don't mind the texture, this does the job.

A lot of high quality nibs
Great value compared to buying some cacao nibs in the grocery store. Love it in lue of dessert and in parfaits. Helps me keep on track with the diet!
