Listen, and Have Fun!!!
Where else could you find a cd where you could get punk rock versions of The Beatles 'Strawberry Field's Forever', and The Carpenter's 'Superstar'? While this cd is another short endeavor, the group delivers, again. To hear their version of Helen Reddy's classic 'Delta Dawn' will bring a smile to your face, as with their version of Blondie's 'Heart Of Glass', one of the best versions of that song yet. If you like your punk fast and furious, and enjoy hearing new takes on classic songs, you will love this! As an added bonus, the group gives you feel that you are actually at a Mitzvah. Clever!

Good quality black vinyl single LP in a semi-gloss sleeve. Inner sleeve is square opaque HDPE. Comes with a collection of pictures from Johnny's bar mitzvah.

Great Album with an awesome live effect
This album is the usual greatness of the Gimme Gimmes takes on classic songs. The fact that this is an actual live recording means some draws and flaws. On the one hand, if you listen to the background talking in-between songs, it's hilarious. On the other hand, some of the songs kind of get cut short. Delta Dawn is an example of both. The song gets cut short because the key changes and the singer decides to call the guitarist out on it, which results in some funny banter between them. A good album with a very funny album insert.

It's the Gimme Gimmes, what do you think?
I wasn't sure I would be totally into this since it was a live album, but it's way good! Delta Dawn, longest time and always on my mind are my favorites.I love this album, I work with folks with mental disabilties and I turned them into Gimme Gimme fans with this album. Whenever we get into my car they say 'Play that Delta Dawn band' haBut it's awesome, buy it!

Piú che un Live, un album registrato dal vivo (a un bar mitvah) in presa diretta.I brani presenti, solo ed esclusivamente cover, non compaiono, eccetto qualche raro caso, in nessuno dei lavori precedenti.Stairway to heaven, Strawberry fields, e O sole mio (si, proprio quella) tra i nomi più noti.Il risultato? La solita rassicurante esplosione di energia.

Was soll man zu den Gimmes schreiben. Wer auf Punkcovers steht, kommt an ihnen nicht vorbei, da ist eigentlich jedes Album Pflicht. Die Tracks sind treibend und verbreiten eindfach nur Gute Laune! Ist fast ein kleiner Geheimtipp. Kaufen!
