Check in advance to make sure this works
I had an LG WM3400CW/01. When searching for the appropriate heater replacement, this part was stated to fit my machine. It did not. There appear to be a few variations on my machine and this part did not fit.This is not an indictment on the part itself, but rather on the stated fitment which was wrong. If I had DISSECTED MY MACHINE FIRST, I might have known this. It had to be either the heater or the thermistor based upon error code. The heater we may never know, and the thermistor was in LALA land because of some “supply chain” issue where it was available until it suddenly was NOT available.Needless to say, it was probably cheaper to buy a new machine rather than have a repair guy come and diagnose…then tell me what I knew….order the part…and wait and wait…and then pay for repairs. All the while, we would be lugging laundry to a third party location. No thanks.

LG thermistor integrated in heating element
The shape was different but fit was correct. Replacing old part eliminated my TE error code. Also, check rubber gasket on front load door. The drain plug is above the thermistor connector. So, if any water drips, it falls on connector and you get a TE error code.

Easily fixed our issue and got our lg up and running
Part was exactly what I needed to repair our Lg. It came in perfect working order and there were easy to follow instructional videos on YouTube to be found. Even a layperson can do it!

Fixed my problem.
I had a te error code on my LG washer and this part resolved the problem. Be sure to torque down the tightening Nut, after installation, otherwise it will leak.

Fixes LG TE error
Got the dreaded "te" error on LG Washer. This worked to replace the bad heating element and sensor. No issues with replacement, perfect fit and connections.

Worked good for 1 year.
This was installed a year ago and the thermistor went last month. The washer is 12 years old and I have never replaced this part before.
