Obvious quality and great flow. I use these megaflow fittings on 3/8 hose and experience no noticeable pressure drop.

Pricey, but works very well. No leaks. Hgh flow. Won't work in cheap home use type pvc air hose (have too small of connections), but works fine with Goodyear yellow hose.I have these on most of my hand held tools. Takes a good deal of strain off the hose.

Things probably changed over the years. The whole body is not smooth, but it has grooves on it from the manufacturing tools, even on the swivel ball. The swivel action is therefore jerky and "grinding"-like. I did not even try it on my tools and returned it right away. Pity, since other Coilhouse Pneumatics parts, like 1/4 inch automatic couples and connectors are perfect.

I think it is because of the very fact that the joint swivels, it is a bit of a hassle to get the connector into the coupling. That is the "nature of the beast" I guess. Connectors which are not swiveling kind are much easier to connect. So if you want ease of connecting then go with fixed non-swivel kind, but if you are concerned about the wear and tear a non-swiveling joint may put on air hose etc. then go with this one.I did not know this until I actually tried a swivel joint connector.

I have bought several coilhouse products and have never had any problems and this item is no different.

Apply one drop of air tool oil to the ball before use. The best quality part of its kind.

Broke within two weeks.

Once you put the hose on it,it doesnt swivel very much in my opinion. But ill keep using it for now.it does swivel but not enough to help get my impact ratchet in tight places.

But make sure that it fits into your coupler. I had to return mine as it did not fit into the 1/4" NPT coupler.

Product is not 1/4" female, it';s 3/4". Description is incorrect.
