Prepac Sonoma Rustic 6-Drawer Dresser for Bedroom, Farmhouse Chest of Drawers for 17.5" D x 48" W x 29" H, Drifted Gray

So far I am happy with this purchase. Very sturdy, clean, and compliments my daughters room very well. The only con… the assembly. Be prepared to spend at least a few hours putting this thing together. By no means it is hard and does not require a construction background but it can take a few hours, especially if you are doing this by yourself and do not have an extra set of hands. If I could go back and do this assembly again I definitely would have someone assist as there are a lot of screws and pieces (especially for the drawers) that need to be repeated over and over 6 identical drawers, each having about 6-8 pieces each, which can be time consuming. I’d also recommend having a power drill for the installation, as a lot of time was spent putting in screws by hand, this could have saved me half the time if I had used power tools. That aside I’m very happy with the product and it was worth the price.

Perfect size and easy to assemble

It went together easily, and while it is not high quality, it does look good and has stood up to kids.

We moved into an apartment and wanted all matching black laquer furniture pieces to go with our bed frame. I bought all Black Sonoma designs, 2 of the condo size 6 drawer dressers, a 2 drawer nightstand, and the 6 drawer chest. Each took a little time to build, but after you build one each successive one becomes easier and simpler to put together. For the price we paid this furniture looks great, came with all the pieces, had good instructions and is exactly what we needed. It is not as flimsy as some of the reviews had indicated, the drawers are plenty solid enough. It is a painted laminate on top of particleboard, so we understand it's not real durable but we are very careful. It gives the room such a clean modern look.

The media could not be loaded. I don’t think I would buy a product like this again to build from scratch. For one none of the pieces are labeled (which would’ve been a big help throughout the process), however it does tell you which piece is what in the instructions so you could label it yourself.Secondly, the hard part was the gliders and making sure they were installed properly before building the entire dresser. It took us a good two hours to figure out the gliders and which way they needed to go.We tried looking on YouTube for a video to better show the installation process but that was very limited. Once you figure out the gliders and making sure the drawers will slide in easily then everything is smooth from there.The end result was okay. The drawers didn’t line up properly, one side is hard to pull out then the other side. The drawers are very crooked but when building the dresser, the only way the drawers worked is the way we did it.Make sure you read your instructions and I suggest labeling your parts to make things more easier! There is a video on YouTube about the gliders and helping you install it which helped slightly. Next time I’ll just pay the extra fees for it to be installed 🤷🏼‍♀️Sturdiness is not bad, it is pretty sturdy. Value for money eehhh, could be better, & assembling process whewwww….. took us a minute lol so be prepared unless your bob the builder 🤣🤣

This dresser looks good, is built good, and gets the job done. I was missing a couple of parts, but the manufacturer has a section on their website where you can order replacement parts for free without having to deal with any customer service reps. It was a great experience, and I recommend this product. Assembly was time consuming but rather simple. I recommend using a drill.

My husband and I are pretty good with building things but the instructions were horrible. Also when we were putting the drawers in the bottom left they weren’t fitting right and are awful to pull in and out. Very cheaply made.

I agree with some of the other reviewers that it would be nice if the parts were labelled. However, the directions did include good drawings so it wasn't really a problem to put it together. Just remember the blue rail on the drawer should line up with the blue rail on the side of the cabinet and red to red. It's an affordable dresser that should still last for years. You can't expect solid wood at this price but it does look nice and can certainly hold clothing items.

This is a cute piece, not bad sturdy once together, but made if chipboard, so be careful with assembly. 2 of my cam locks broke through the other side. Definitely could use some legs for extra support, as it sits on its ends. Drawers are relatively small, but so is the dresser. Definitely would classify this as a kids set. Overall, it will serve my purpose for now, but will be looking for something more adult at some point.

Good product, drawers with less space than I thought.

It was pretty easy to put together and looks like it will last.

I bought 4 Sonoma Prepac assembly pieces of bedroom furniture. 2 of the 4 had missing hardware that will not allow you to complete assembly. They sent the first missing pieces the next day and that was good customer service to fix their mistake, but then with the 2nd, Prepac tells me I have to wait more then a week to get the parts to finish assembly of the bedroom furniture! Now all the pieces are unpacked from the 75 lb box it came in and everything has to sit for over a week waiting for missing hardware! Caution with Prepac furniture - 2 of 4 orders had missing hardware!
