Home Master makes great products. Tech support is also great. I used to have the artisinal reverse osmosis which is amazing, but for a small counter top model the water tastes great! Avoiding the fluoride and chloride chemicals is a bonus. Because of the Amazon deal I got fluoride protection at the non fluoride model price. Not looking forward to changing the filter I read you need to call Home Master for a wrench and it is locked in pretty tight.

This is an absolutely wonderful filter for your tapwater. I was on well water for 25 years and moved to an area that had treated water that tasted like doo doo. This filter makes it so I can actually drink the water without being sick. The only reason I don't rate it a 5 star is that I had to do an exchange because the first one leaked. I had read other reviews about the issue and decided to take a chance. My first one was black and fit perfectly on the counter next to the sink, but I had to keep a towel under it for a small drip when it was being used. Within a week the drip became a stream and when I went to look at it the long metal nozzle that the water comes out of came off in my hand. It appeared to have been soldered or welded to another internal piece and it didn't hold. I did the request for a replacement and I got it within a couple of days. This one was white instead of the black one I wanted, but it worked. this one has no leak to it at all and has been great for all my needs. It works much better than the other one and the water even tastes better. This is an awesome filter and I would highly recommend it. Just be aware that there may be a flawed one occasionally and you may need to request a replacement before you get one that is perfect for you. Maybe they will get their production of that particular weld fixed in the future. It's such a silly and small thing. I can see how it would potentially be difficult to get that weld right. Don't skip this one because of the issue in some of them. Just request the replacement and you will be as happy as I am. I love this filter.

I am so excited to have pure, delicious water now! I did call the company with a couple of questions and THEY WERE SO HELPFUL AND NICE! It is a plus that they are in AZ and all parts are made in USA! I am in a small apartment, so an under-the-sink model was out of the question and space was an issue as well. It fits right on the back of the sink, so no counterspace used. Love it!

I’ve previously ordered this unit and it was phenomenal. I recently ordered a unit and the water tastes very odd. Compared to the tap water, it is much worse and has this gritty mouth feel. I suspect that the packing has come loose but I have not opened up the filter.

NOTE - my unit arrived in a Opened box from PW in AZ to Amazon (label still on it), though was shipped from Amazon - i've never had good luck when this occurs (possibly a return, repurposed out the door again?). So it may have been who knows what... OK - let me say i NEVER write poor reviews til now. All the reviews look good, but my unit did ZERO FILTERING vs my "000 Pitcher". I have 3 ppm meters and all 3 show NO FILTERING even after 25 mins of run time to clear it out. 350ppm in from sink, 350ppm out from filter - WTH? Yes there was a New Filter IN it as evidenced by the black soot in initial run-off for 20min. A 5 Stage filter should reduce ppm at least 80% and i got NO PPM filtering ! Now - i am assuming MY UNIT WAS A FLUKE, as all others love it - so i am not hitting the company - just beware if you get an Open Box one... I guess ill have to use the 000 Pithcher or a $$$ Reverse Osmosis system...

Very happy. Where I live I use city water and when tested from my faucet it contained around 3ppm of Chlorine which is very close to the max acceptable level of 4ppm They also add the poison known as fluoride and state the keep the level for that at .68ppm. Anyhow I bought this to remove Chlorine, Fluoride, and other nasties that are in my water. I took it apart when I got it to make sure it had the correct filter which it did. Very easy to open, and then reinstall the filter. I put it on my sink and it works perfect. Removed the Chlorine levels down to untraceable levels, and the flow is great. Way better then my Berkey. It was so slow I got rid of it- Gravity filters are not they way to go when using city water. I'm going to order test strips for Fluoride to make sure that the filter works perfect, but i'm mostly convinced that it does. I will update if I remember.

I purchased this filter so i could fill my 5 gallons jugs for my water dispenser so i didn't have to go back and forth to Walmart during Covid 19. It was very easy to install, took about 5 minutes, i needed a plastic adapter for the faucet i purchased here on Amazon. The unit is well built, my water is not that bad but i wanted to let it run through the filter just in case. It approves on taste and removes a lot of stuff from your tap water if that is a major concern for you or your family. It also takes other filters like the - US Water Lead & Cyst Carbon Block Filter | USWCB-2510-LD - sold here on Amazon. I e-mailed the Home Master customer service, and they were very quick to reply to my questions, as they are here in the USA. And they even sent me some freebies. I haven't had the filter that long but, so far so good.

Somme issues with the installation, if you need detached often like us it begins to spill water when attached again so try not detached that often. Tap water taste much better so I assume is cleansing as it should.

After lots of research and recommendation from a friend, we purchased this Home Master Water filter. What a difference in Water quality and taste compare to the previous we were using and also more reasonable. Glad we changed.
