Instructions Shake bottle, add 1 oz. (30 ml) Turbo Start per 25 gallons (95 L) of water. Add animals after acclimation. Do not overfill tank. Do not overfeed. Test water parameters regularly. To decrease cycle time, FritzZyme TurboStart900 may be safely used up to 5 times the recommended dosage. Review: Trusted product. Cycles quickly and effectively - Definitely helped cycle my tank quickly and efficiently. Been using Fritz to cycle my aquariums since the 80’s. Trusted product for a good value. Review: Excellent product for cycling a saltwater tank - My bare bottom saltwater tank cycle stalled with high nitrites for >5-6 weeks (I attempted to cycle vis dosing a mix of ammonia and fish food; no fish were present). I initially inoculated the tank with Dr. Tim’s, tried multiple water changes, kept phosphate levels elevated, added Seachem Stability; all without success. Within 2 days of using this product, the nitrites dropped by 2PPM. Very impressed with how quickly it worked. The product shipped with a cold pack, though was arrived at ambient temp due to a shipping delay. However, this didn’t seem to have an impact on the effect. There was a slight sulfur odor but this dissipated rather quickly. I also greatly exceeded the recommended dosing (I dumped in 4oz for a 5 gallon tank) with great results. I highly recommend using this product for cycling dry rock saltwater tank. Just spend the extra money upfront instead of wasting time and money on other products.

Cycle was stuck for 17 days. Within 36 hours, GREAT results!
The photos show what my water readings were before, and then 36 hours after I added just one standard dose of the FritzZyme Turbo Start 900. My cycle was stuck/stalled— there were no changes in my readings, even after I waited/tested for 17 days (after I initially began the cycle). However, adding this product caused the cycle to move forward. Also, no negatives like water cloudiness occurred. It even shipped in with a cold pack! Before purchasing, I was a bit skeptical because I had no luck with my tank for nearly 3 weeks. But this stuff really saved the day.

Solved my stalling Nitrite issue
Works within the second day. I’ve started cycling my salt water tank with microbacter startxlm for two weeks and nothing happened. The first row in the picture shows the results of my ammonia and nitrite level after two week. Then I decided to try Dr Tim one and only. After three days I got my ammonia down to zero and i continue to add about .5 ppm ammonia to the tank every other day. I just couldnt get nitrate to drop to. It is as if the bacteria that suppose to convert the nitrite to nitrate was too slow. I added a refugium at this time so that takes care of my nitrate bringing it down fairly quickly. The second row on the picture shows the result after adding dr Tim for about 1.5 weeks. Then I decided to try Fritz turbo start and within 2 days, my nitrite drops to zero. The result of Fritz turbo after 2 days is shown in the last row in the picture. There’s still a little bit of ammonia left but I’m not too concern of that. Great stuff!

Not sure if it worked, but my tank was cycled quickly
I watched a bunch of youtube videos and was expecting to get some giant algae bloom or a huge spike in nitrites and then nitrates. I never experienced any of this. I was so unsure if my tank was cycled. I tested my water consistently, for 2 weeks no change. Then i bought a small rock covered in algae from petco and put it in there. I shined a flashlight that night and saw it had some good hitchhikers in it. Tiny Stomatella snails, and alot of amphipods. I watched them for a week and they were thriving so i knew it was obviously cycled now. Then i bought one fish, a diamond goby. That guy is the best purchase ive made. He is a workhorse and keeps my entire sandbed clean of all extra food. Anyways... he was happy in there. So then i knew it was safe to add more. My tank is 75 gallons with live sand and dry live rock carib sea. The only wet live rock i added was that tiny one from petco. I think it works. Still not sure really if it was this stuff or the extra time i gave it.

Turbo start for the win
This stuff worked like a charm! Does Dr Tim's ammonia and 8oz of turbo start to a 36 gallon tank and it cycled in 6 days! Put a pair of snowflake clowns in on day 9 and, they're happy and healthy a month later. Absolutely would use again!

TurboStart Instant Cycle
This is a proven product for me, it’s reliable when adding fish at the same time or if you’re pre cycling rock use the fishless fuel. More is better, not less is more. Make sure you have plenty of rock and biomedia for the bacteria to attach to. I recommend having cycled base rock, using live sand, and 2-3x the dose of turbostart. You may never see any ammonia. Also, api test kits give false positives on trace ammonia or nitrite.
