I purchased this phone for my home and office. I needed 2 lines, one for home and the other for the office. For the most part I like this phone. I like the look and feel of it. It is light but not so light it feels cheap. It has a clear sound and works as promised. There are 2 drawbacks for me with this phone. One is, I can't change which line is answered, or chosen, when I hit the talk button. It defaults to line one and you can't change that. Also, the ring tones are very limited! The only difference between the 5 or so choices you have is the tempo of the ring. The difference is SO slight that we still can't tell which line is ringing until we look at the phone. I really don't like that. So, even after hours, we have to grab the phone to see if the call is personal or business.OTher that those 2 complaints, the phone works well and is great. I wouldn't buy it again only because of the ringtones.

Having the ability to connect two phone lines is a must for my home-based business. I love that when I need additional phones I can just add them on. Pros- Super easy to connect to the base, took less than 2 minutes Long battery life Ability to conference to other phones Cons- Annoying flashing on all phones, saying that there is a message.

Bought this as a second handset to the base unit which came with one accessory handset. Works great and provides convenient access in other rooms. Only issue was that I had to call customer support service to get this second handset to connect/register with the base unit as following the instructions provided did not work. I was advised to unplug the base unit and then reconnect it and then proceed to register the first handset originally included with the base unit and then this additional second accessory handset. Following those instructions got both handsets connected/registered with the base unit and all is working well.

I ordered this handset to continue building out a network of cordless phones in the house. This particular model is able to do two-lines, which is important because we need that ability. Upon arrival, the phone would not connect to the base. Turns out the base phone needed to be power cycled. I found that out after sitting on hold waiting for RCA tech support for about 20 minutes. It would have been nice to have that kind of information somewhere on their website or in the enclosed docs. Once the base phone was power cycled, this phone (and the other cordless extension) connected just fine. This handset has also already experienced the "dead line of pixels" issue that at least one other person has mentioned. That problem popped up about a week after we started using the phone. It's not a deal-breaker to me, but it's an annoyance that shouldn't be there. Otherwise, the phone works fine. Call quality and clarity are sufficient, and the range on the phone covers the entire house. To get five stars, though, it needs to work correctly right out of the box (or have sufficient instructions to make it work correctly), and it needs to last longer than a week before a hardware failure pops up.

Bought this as an add on to the main unit. This product works well but the main unit has issues with incoming calls when your already on the line. This is the second main unit I have had with this issue.

paired up easily with my base unit. Now i have two cordless phones... I'm on the phone all day and when one cordless phone starts to need recharge I can switch over to the other one seamlessly... perfect for my needs...

Pros: - Lightweight / small - In general speaker phone worked well; sometimes tinny - Worked through house where Wi-Fi is sometimes a problem - Directory can be copied from handset to base and to other handsets - Extensions can be given names Cons: - Has local echo after incoming Call on same line (call waiting); both in speakerphone mode and not; vendor could not fix, indicated incompatible with the telephone network - Blue charging light is bright and keeps one up at night - Static and clicking on line at times; likely amplified line noise - One call had clicks at every break of speech from far end - One person claimed periodic beeping; may have been speakerphone picking up loud bird - Other extensions hear interrupt beep when an extension joins or leaves a call; far end heard it as well - Sometimes circular rocker button stops working when pressed repeatedly (e.g., up or down) - Small keys; you get used to it - Tendency to use up/down small chicklet keys vs. volume keys (frequently going back and forth between sections of phone pad)

Great price for replacement of office phone. Works well and convenient.

This two line phone has been around for years. Nice to be able to still get spare handsets. If you replacing an existing phone that died, remember to delete it from the base station phone before adding a new one.
