Color is good, it is 8bit FRT, so it is a fake 10 bit but still better than just 8 bit. The KVM functions really well and the USB-C connection to my macbook functions as intended, got my video output and even charging my macbook. The KVM functions is not just in PBP mode, you can go to the desired VIDEO input in full screen and the keyboard/mouse connected to the monitor will works as intended. Be sure to install the driver tho, without the driver it would not work. And the upstream USB cable has to be connected if your computer output is not in USBC. That means all HDMI/Display Input need a USB Cable to get the KVM function works. Only downside is that you can see some minimal light bleed at the edges.

Consistent color and brightness across the entire screen at any viewing angle. Makes photo editing a true pleasure.

For the money the VP2785-2K is right in line with the competition however giving more flexibility with advanced options for fine tuning the picture quality. One difference I have noted from previous generations is that the Blue-Light filter which is exceptionally useful is grayed out while making other changes where previously it could be used in conjunction with other changes. I have sent back my original purchase for another in hopes for greater quality from one side of the screen to another. The WB showed a deviation of 200 from one side to the other going from 6400K bottom L to 6800K to top R. This is pretty unacceptable considering the price of this monitor and the presumptive use, "photography." Another note of importance, the screen gave off a considerable amount of green. I had to work to tone it down meanwhile my VP2771 was a bit warm. Not the quality I would expect in 2020 for a $600 monitor. In fact, calibrating it in custom is a pointless affair. To try and tone the green down turns the monitor unusable by the amount of adjustments neccasry. The only options are to keep it in AdobeRGB and bring the brightness down moderatly and calibrate or leave it at factory settings and calibrate. Lastly, The Adobe RGB and sRGB settings are incredibly low in contrast. I was reading a considerably lower than the advertised max claims, see below. On top of that Viewsonic has set these standard profiles (Adobe RGB & sRGB) be quite bright. For photography in a bright environment in an office perhaps in a studio or home office, absolutely not.

The unit I got, which I assumed was defective, kept changing brightness depending on the software I was using. I also had a very hard time callibrating the monitor and was never able to achieve a good calibration (the blacks in particularly were very off from their claims). Last time I buy Viewsonic.

Viewing angles are poor enough that the corners go light and washed out when viewing straight on. My monitor also had a weird color cast where the left side of the screen was tinted blue/green and the right side was tinted pink (this was after a full calibration). Definitely won't do for my photo editing, so back it goes.

Monitor veramente ben fatto, copertura eccellente dell’Adobe RGB! Non è 4K ma il 2K per questa dimensione 27” lo trovo più indicato. Acquisto super consigliato.

Llevo seis meses probando dicho monitor y es una belleza para trabajar editando video en alta definición. Contiene una nitidez definida y un color muy original al de referencia. Es un poco difícil de configurar al principio, pero no más problemas de ello. Tengo un monitor ultrawide de LG y estoy planeando reemplazarlo por uno parecido pero de ViewSonic.

I am super happy so far. For this price this monitor is doing the work very well: Black and white are blending well together. The colors are super deep, and the brightness is strong. There are lots of parameters control, it cover the Adobe RGB color palette so for 2D/3Dgraphic it's perfect! I mounted two of them on arms, it was super easy to do. The only cons, the power outlet adapter is making a weird noise sometimes but not too bothering

Ich war lange am Überlegen, ob ich mir einen EIZO, einen BenQ oder eben diesen ViewSonic Monitor kaufen soll. Mein alter LG (15 Jahre alt) war für die Bildbearbeitung wirklich nicht besonders gut geeignet und als er jetzt schlapp gemacht hat war klar, dass ein Monitor für Bildbearbeitung kommen muss. 100% Adobe RGB sollten es auf jeden Fall sein, da ich mit LR und PS arbeite. Eine Hardwarekalibrierung außerdem ein Muss. Ich habe ziemlich lange verglichen, der Viewsonic bietet genau dass, was ich suchte und dies zu einem deutlich besseren Preis als der Platzhirsch EIZO. Der Monitor kam, mit ihm ein Kalibrierungsprotokoll. Die Paneloberfläche ist matt, der Monitor verfügt über eine Pivotfunktion. Zusammenbau und Anschluss waren leicht und meine ersten Tests haben mich vom ViewSonic absolut überzeugt. Kann den Monitor nur weiterempfehlen. Daumen hoch.
