Fork Conversion Kits

My Niner RLT RDO was a hold out and used the 15mm thru axle "standard". Had a new pair of wheels that were 12mm and didn't have easy cap conversions (OEM wheels). This product saved me from having to order an entire new front wheel to use them on this bike.

This unique part worked perfectly and the company reached out before sending the part to double check that I was going to get the right part as well as explain how it works. This really showed how much they care about their work and making sure people are satisfied!

Only product on the market that can convert older gravel bikes to newer thru axle standards. Would be the seller also offered a pin-spanner tool for installation.

Works well, but you will need some threadlock and a pin spanner. The threaded end screws in good and tight though it can unthread when installing the axle, I used a liberal amount of blue threadlock to solve the problem. Two things dropped a star off, the first is that the two holes for the pin spanner on the threaded insert aren't deep enough or big enough. As a bike part they should have made the holes to fit one of the park tool spanners but they aren't that big, they're also shallow enough they started to strip out while I finished the tightening. The second issue is the cost, its a pretty basic system that only commands the price it does because there's no competition that I could find. If it included a QR axle so I didn't need a tool to remove the wheel it'd be worth the price, 100%, bolt on should be twenty less.

Needed to go from 15mm front TA to 12mm TA for a wheel swap and this did the job. There is an instructional video if you need it, but it’s very easy to install.

I ride a 2018 Raleigh Tamland 2 with a 15mm front thru-axle. I run HED Tomcats from the factory and use those for unladen gravel/allroad days, but I recently picked up a set of Ibis 733s in 12mm for bikepacking and needed a way to get them spinning. This brilliant little kit allows me to rapidly transition between the two. Takes only a couple of mins to get these inserts in or out. Now I have 700x38s for fast, firm days, and 650x47s for slow, cushy days. This kit is machined cleanly from aluminum, fits beautifully, and doesn't mar my forks or axles. Can't recommend highly enough. Only a matter of time before major mfgs start making similar products and charging 2x as much.

Joe reached out to me to ensure I had the correct part for my bike, and it was indeed a perfect fit. Quality is excellent, with 6061-T1 adapters and 7075 axle, both very nicely anodized. I have a machine shop and was going to spin up my own adapters, but at this price it's not even close to being worth it! I highly recommend this to anyone trying to get an "older" bike compatible with the newer thru-axle size standards.
