Coleman Silverton Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad, Lightweight Camping Pad with Pillow, Comfortable Sleeping Mat with Side Bumpers, Easy Inflation

Must have for camping. We went out for camping at least once a year. We have one for almost 10 years and is still fine. The assemble is easy and inflates quickly with enough air for comfortable sleep. We bought new ones for kids as they grow up.

Easy in inflate and deflate. Much more comfortable than sleeping on the ground. The pillow thing is a bit hokey. Just bring a real pillow. The description says that the pieces on the side prevent you from rolling off. Well, not really. Face it, most of us are accustomed to sleeping in a large bed. I sure am. I roll over when I sleep, so i cannot say I really stayed on top of the pad completely. Still, its a great pad at a great price. Inflated really easy. Felt comfortable to sleep on.

Overall, my wife and I enjoy these mats very much. They're comfortable, lightweight, and pack up nicely for backpacking. Although, randomly after the second use, my wife's mat started deflating. We have not found any holes, pricks, issues with valve, etc. and are baffled at why it is not holding air. We would love if Coleman could reach out to us for a replacement! Unfortunately we are past the return time period for Amazon, but have only had time to use them twice since purchase. In my opinion, if wavering on purchasing, I would say go for it-we think our situation is a fluke and they are otherwise great mats!

I have used 2 of this for years and they work well for us for car camping trips. Nice quality build from Coleman. So far no regrets. I do recommend them if your car camping as they are bulky on a pack

High quality and long lasting, I used this for nearly 2 years before accidentally popping it and got a new one through the return. Im 6'5 and this easily fit me with more space

As an avid hiker for decades I'll say this mat is excellent for new & veteran hikers. Very robust durability, fine comfort, no-slip rubber beading, and just the right size. The rails are a clever addition, (though unneeded for me, an idol back-sleeper), and hey it matches the Silverton sleeping bag, (in shape not color, which is orange). You can also place some clothes in the attached stuff sack to make a pillow, very convenient. I originally bought it for my wife who needs good support at night whilst camping, and this pad can be filled very firm and hold it all night. I could dock one star for weight, but hey if you're shopping here you're exploring the more affordable alternatives than a $100+ "bagged essence of angels breath" that is the Ultra Light genre. I give it an R-value of 4.5 to 5, (based on inflated loft). Coleman really came through with this offering, no kidding.

Didn’t inflate. Returned it.

Before this I used a cheap off brand sleeping pad. Do not make that mistake and cheap out on a sleeping pad or you’ll find yourself freezing in the mountains while camping. Coleman’s quality is decent and it’s about the best product you can get at this price range. Super easy to use and doesn’t deflate while I’m sleeping so it keeps me off the ground and warm. I will say it doesn’t pack small, so it’s probably best for camping and I wouldn’t recommend taking this backpacking.
