This product is a prime case of all fur coat and no knickers.It looks great and sounds clean (albeit with quite low output overall).The main oversight with this unit is the lack of direct monitoring options without the use of a DAW.Direct monitoring is only possible through the headphone outputs unless you have a DAW running in the background to route the input signals to the main output.If you had a guitar going through an axe fx or helix unit and wanted to just plug in and hear the direct signal through the main out, this is impossible without a DAW running.If you were a DJ and wanted to run traktor Pro along with some external cd or vinyl decks then you would have to run traktor software AND an DAW to set the direct monitoring routing. This causes undue system strain and the possibility of dropouts and clicks and pops due to sharing the card between two programs.I suspect that this could all be resolved by the release of a small software program that could toggle this option such as the way focusrite have implemented their direct monitoring through focusrite control.This is boxed and ready for return.Very disappointed.

先代のKomplete Audio 6所有者です。6年ほど使っててUSB端子の接触が悪くなってきて買い替えを検討していたところ、このKomplete Audio 6 Mk2が発売されていたことを知りました。基本的なスペックは先代を踏襲したアナログ4in4out、MIDI、S/PDIF、さらにバスパワー駆動という魅力的なもので、さらに順当に192kHz対応に進化しヘッドフォンアウトも2つに増加ということで迷わず購入しました。ところがいくつもの不満点、問題点、欠陥・不具合があったため報告しておきます。まず先代ユーザーにとって罠となりがちな点として、モニタリング音量つまみの近くにあるスイッチが先代では出力の1-2か3-4を切り替えるものだったが、Mk2では入力の1-2か3-4を切り替えるもの変更されたというのがあります。ただ個人的にはこの事は購入前に知っていた上に、むしろ入力3-4でもダイレクトモニタリング出来たほうがハードシンセ使用時に都合がいいので別に問題はなかった。それよりも驚きなのは、ダイレクトモニタリング音がヘッドフォンアウトからしか出力されずラインアウト端子からは出力されないことである！え？？？っという感じです。世の中みんな録音時にヘッドフォンからしかモニター音を聴かないとでも思っているのだろうか…。ちなみに公式サイトの製品ページでは、ダイレクトモニタリング音はヘッドフォンアウトから出ると何となく程度には書いてあるが、はっきりとラインアウトからは出ないとは一切書かれていない。おそらく製品として弱い部分であることを認識しているために、あえて隠そうとしているのではないだろうかと思ってしまいます。またオーディオインターフェイスにはコントロールパネルが必須だが、これが非常に簡易的でショボい。先代のコントロールパネルはデザインもちゃんとしてた上に、音声のドロップやレイテンシー等の解析機能まで付いた優れものだったが、Mk2ではなんとバッファサンプル数を変更することしか出来ない。サンプリングレートの変更や、S/PDIFのクロックソースを内部か外部か切り替える機能すら無いのだ！これでは明らかに未完成品である。発売は2019年6月なのでもう4ヶ月ほど経ち公式のサポートフォーラムでもユーザーから報告されているが未だこの状態のままだ。さらにこれも公式フォーラムで報告されているが、MIDIもかなり問題を抱えていてMIDIキーボードを接続しての演奏時に和音を弾いても単音しか鳴らない。MIDIなんていうもはや枯れきった規格なのにこのグダグダぶりである。たしかに最近はUSB接続のキーボードを使う人も多いと思うが、今更MIDIすらまともに機能しないとはさすがに酷いでしょう。このような具合に現状では完全に未完成の欠陥品である。ただハードスペックやコスパは十分に魅力的なので、ソフト面が改善されてちゃんと仕様通りに動作するならばちゃんと良い製品だとは思う。（ダイレクトモニタリング音がラインアウトから出ないことさえ許容できれば）自分は返品しましたが。もし購入を検討しているのなら少なくとも来年以降、公式サイトでドライバやファームウェアがアップデートされたことを確認してからにすることをお勧めします。

Someone asked about not being able to input a mic in mono in windows 10 with the Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 interface . I have a mono XLR condenser microphone and I plug it in to The IN1 channel or in to the IN2 channel and am able to input a single mono signal just fine. If you are connecting a stereo microphone and you want just a mono signal, I don’t see why you couldn’t just connect it to IN1 or IN2 or even IN 3 or IN 4 and route it to come out of one of the single output channels as a mono signal. As long as you are using one input channel I don’t know how it could ever be a stereo signal even if you have the outputs connected to stereo speakers or you are recording. I hope this helps.

I had the older model and it worked great. This new one works fine for about 40-60 minutes and then the volume cuts out and there is massive distortion. I unplug the USB from my mac and plug it back in and it resets itself for about 20 minutes.
