amFilm Screen Protector for iPad Mini 5/iPad Mini 4, Tempered Glass, 1 Pack

Until this day I still have it on, I got it back in 2023 and no cracks or nothing. Applying it was super easy, no bubbles, can still use with a stylus, fits perfectly, easy to clean, it protects really good.

Okay, this is a review from the dumb, non-technically trained person.... Or at least that's how I felt for a while (you will likely think I was too after I tell you this story). I got the product and followed the directions. Everything went as planned until I used the included "squeeze card" to get out a few bubbles. At which time, the squeeze card scratched the screen. I was upset and asked for a replacement. One came. I took it off and then replaced the old one without once again washing the ipad screen. I figured it was already clean. Nope! As careful as I was, it didn't work. So I emailed their tech support and they sent me another one. This time, I was not able to use the tabs to get off the top cover (somehow, first time I noticed there was a top plastic cover to remove-oh, oh)... So tech support sent me a youtube video and offered to change out the defective one. The video looked so easy! But I couldn't get it to work. So I want sent a final protector. Now, I gotta tell you, I have tested very high on an IQ test. But really, I felt sooo stupid. Finally, I had to return them. But now, my Ipad touch screen wouldn't work. So I go to the Apple store. And to my TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT, there were 4 screen protectors installed on top of the Ipad.. (OMG!!! I felt like the dumbest person EVER!). The Apple Genius guy took the other three off and the touch screen is perfectly fine). Is it possible to want to shrink into an invisible person and disappear? I was soo embarassed! Well, at the end of the day, these screen protectors were so good, that somehow, I still am baffled how, I installed them so perfectly that I didn't even know I'd installed them. That's how good they are. Moral of the story, read all the instructions all the way through, and pay attention. And it must be commented on, customer service was fast, very helpful, and never made me feel dumb. They sent several screens... and I finally figured it out. I'm just glad I don't use my real name, where someone could recognize me and my unbelievable ...mistakes! The PRODUCT IS LOVELY AND IT WORKS. It is a very good quality and the customer service is phenomenal! It's so easy to do, you might even not realize you did it!

So far this screen protector has been toddler proof along with a good case of course. Went on good as long as you prep the screen before installing. Haven’t had any issues with bubbles or anything long term (2 years or so)

This screen protector was very easy to install. Took very little time and it went on smooth, no bubbles, and seems to be on there very solidly. I did mess up the alignment the first time, but it was easy to remove and try again without ruining the protector. It does tend to smudge, I am not sure if it smudges as bad as it could, but there is still minimal smudging, which is fine as this is easy to clean. I watch a lot of videos on this though and when the screen is dark it is fairly reflective and I just see myself staring back amidst whatever else I can make out, which is a problem, but again this is glass and you are paying around $10, so I find this acceptable. Lastly, this model iPad uses the gen 1 Apple Pencil. I find that the Pencil does work well with this glass. It is a bit smooth, but that is going to be an issue with whatever screen protector unless that protector is matte. This does cause the stylus to slide around easily, but I think that helps me more than hurts me. It doesn't have a lot of feedback though so for some it might make it seem strange writing on the slick glass. Still though, nothing about this protector impedes the use of the tablet. Would definitely recommend as a good value product for basic protection needs.

I got way more than I spent on the product. The customer service is great, the product is great, my experience is great! PROs: Installation box and kit has everything you need to install product Product is gorgeous and quality is A+++ It is on my 7 year olds iPad and he is rough on it with smudges and banging... holding up great! The protector is thick and while properly installed on the screen, it feels like its not even there! Customer service is responsive and follows up to make sure I'm happy (I am) even when had no issues ;-). thanks!! A+ CONS The product can be tedious to install (however did have clear instructions and all necessary tools to install!). It took me about 5 to 10 minutes. I had tools (to wet clean, then dry clean, then spot remove any possible dust particles) PRIOR to installation. Then there were holders on either end of the film (all clearly labelled) when I finally carefully laid down the screen protector onto my iPad screen. Really got it done perfect at one time! Now it's worry-free. - I cannot think of any cons. I guess time will tell if it keeps my screen from getting damaged. If I don't update, that means I'm happy! If not, let you guys know and will contact customer service. The product box was excellent! The film is thick and very clear! Thank you!
