Excellent quality
I used this to make Mont Blanc. Boil 2cups of water, 1cup of sugar and 1 vanilla bean scrapped and cut until it reduces to 3/4 cup. Beat the chestnut purée until it’s smooth. Slowly add the cooled water and whip in 4tbsp soft butter. Pass through a sieve. It had wonderful flavor and texture, smooth, sweet but not saccharine, intense chestnut taste. Perfect.

Happy to have found real purée with no sugar added: perfect accompaniment to turkey, duck, goose or any venison.

We use it for chestnut cookies for Christmas. Great flavor! I definitely recommend it!

Great, expensive
You do need to handle it before use - add some syrup to boost flavor and thin it out, and then strain. My only complaint is that it's a bit pricey. It s a big can but goes quickly.

Its not the same as the pureed from the real chestnut
It doesn't taste good as the real pureed chestnut. This was the first time purchased this product and I won't try it again. The color was awful and the product was very rough, not smooth at all. I will continue to purchase the chestnut and puree it myself.

This product is great I made the most wonderful desserts during the holidays, a puff filled pastries and a chestnut cheesecake. I will be purchasing this again.
