Silverhill Tools ARKXB1T Replacement Xbox One Thumbsticks with Tools

This is NOT a paid/tester/discounted review, I purchased these to replace a pair of sticks that were OEM and had been played so much the necks of the sticks were cut through.These replacements worked direct drop in - I will say the base of the sticks were a tiny bit smashed due to packaging, but don't appear to affect serious gameplay. The tops of the sticks, actual play surface, is sticky and after even a few matches they feel like dried-soda sticky, indicative of solvent flashing. I have now played for a few days on the sticks and they don't show any sign of being less sticky.I would say with the quality tools and well made sticks, this is still a good purchase, I will update if/when the stickiness goes away.

The thumbsticks themselves are fine. Nothing special, not quite as "nice" feeling as the OEMs but they suit my needs. The spudger they give you to remove the bottom grips did the job, actually feels like a respectable tool. The screwdriver that came with the kit was not the correct one for the XBox One controllers, so make sure you have the proper security torx driver at-hand.Overall, would likely buy again the next time my dog chews up my controller.

4 joysticks and tools; great for the price. The quality of the joysticks was almost up to par with the original. You can feel the difference between original and replacements, but it’s not worse just slightly different. Only drawback was the security bit tool did not match the screws on myXbox one controller. I used a 1.4 mm flat head screwdriver instead and it worked.

These worked great and the tools are such a bonus! I use Kontrol Freeks so I was a bit skeptical if they would fit properly. They are *almost* the same size as the originals! I say almost because one was just a hair smaller than the other. (My Kontrol Freek was a bit loose on it compared to the other. It still works without an issue though.)Overall a great product. I would buy again.

Don’t buy this! The tool for the screws is definitely the wrong one. It is too small and has no hole in the center to let it sink down onto the pin in the center of the screw. I noticed many reviews after 2019 have said the same thing. I wonder if their is new supplier or what could be the difference in some getting the correct screwdriver and others getting one that has not a chance of working.

The rubber material on the thumb sticks are very cheap compare to the price that you are paying. Also, they got ruined in like 4 weeks of using I mean if I spent $30 more with the money I payed for this, I can get a brand new controller instead of trying to fix my controller with some bad quality joysticks that doesn't worth the money. I would say this item is worth around $7 or $8 and that means they probably doubled the price worth.

The joysticks are not even close to as good as the original. However, the price is low enough that it's still a good deal if you don't mind burning through a joystick every ten hours of play. I ended up swapping the right stick in for my left one and using the replacement for the right stick, since I mainly play rocket league and that barely uses the right stick.

Awsome product! was able to fix my kids controller for a great price and even have a spare set for the next one. Like the pry tool and torx screwdriver as well.
