This is my 1st monitor and im really impressed as i used to play on a 4k 55inch tv to this and what a difference the picture quality is amazing i use for my series x and its great no faults at all the gaming is great on it i 100% recomend this for a budget gaming monitor

I bought this for working from home but have ended up taking it to the office, where I do at least 80% of my hours now anyway. (If we ever need go more remote again, it will come back home with me!)When comparing to what you can usually get for this price, the main value is the amount of things you can fit on the one 4K screen: more than you can normally spread over 3 HD monitors. This makes it so much easier when doing software development and running VMs, etc.Don’t get me wrong, I still have my laptop screen and another monitor to the right (you can never have too many screens!) but this has really boosted how much I can do without maximising and minimising windows, etc.I got this for £200 on Prime Day. If it drops that low again, I will get another for home use. The quality is great and the move up to 4K is a real game-changer as I said.

Delivery was easy. The price was cheaper here on Amazon than anywhere else.It took around 15 minutes to unbox, fit onto the stand (easy), plug in the HDMI from my MacMini and fiddle with the settings to get to what I wanted. The little joystick is very convenient and intuitive to use.There are no frills. No fancy connections, no speakers, no wall mounting, no height adjustment. But what a great screen?!! To get such good quality at this price - I was looking at monitors in the £500+ range and I am very happy I have picked up this Philips. It also looks great. It's 27" but only very thin strips on the side that give a good frame. Colours are strong and true.

Granted, this monitor does not have the highest specs compared to some, but as a really good 4k display for daily use, it is excellent. For reference, it is hooked up to a Mac mini. Two points are worth noting. First, the display takes a while to ‘wake up’ even after the computer has powered up. Second, the control button for the display menu is tiny and touchy, so if you need to regularly adjust display settings that could be a drawback. For my use, though, this is a great display.

Was delighted to receive my monitor until I switched it on and received a message saying ‘use of fixed pattern or static images for more than 30 minutes may result in burn in’ ... seriously? I thought this was a thing of the past. There are going to be static elements on my screen such as toolbars in photoshop, I understand Philips are probably just covering themselves, but considering how cheap this monitor was I don’t want to risk it - especially given that the manual explicitly states that any screen burn in issues may be permanent and are not covered under the warranty. If Philips made this clear I would have just not have bothered purchasing it. Just go with a better brand, it might cost a bit more upfront but it will be worth it long term.

Venant du monde du Full HD et après avoir regardé de centaines d’articles et comparatifs, je me suis décidé d'acheté ce modèle "4K UHD, étant donné mon budget :"J’ai vu de multiples avis ou reviews, parfois contradictoires les uns avec les autres mais vu mes expériences avec les produits de ce fabricant, j’ai décidé de franchir le pas et de le commander."Après plus de 5 années d’utilisations intensives, avec des jeux FPS PC rapide où la rapidité du temps de réponse dalle (en 5 ms et IPS) est un « must have », en 2k ou UHD; je peux vous assurer et rassurer que celui fait son job aussi bien ! "C’est aussi zéro souci avec streaming 4K YouTube avec le HDCP 2.2 avec le câble HDMI 2.0 livré avec par Philips.Maintenant c’est difficile de regarder des choses en Full HD, après avoir regardé des sublimes vidéos tournés nativement en 4 K mais on a du 2k au moins !Les qualités :- Le temps de réponse de la dalle du temps moderne car très rapide sans « Lag » visible, testés sur la plupart des FPS à 60 Hz !- Rapides !- Design très beau et épuré tout en métal avec un look très haut de gamme pour le prix !- Réglage via software Philips ou directement sur l’écran (OSD)Et les petites choses qui fâchent :- Qui a osé imaginer le bouton de mise sous-tension derrière l’écran On/OFF et non devant ???- Le pivot en métal centralisé se fixant sur le milieu de l’écran est devenu trop … heum « mobile » avec le temps et du coup il y a un petit jeu de mouvement latéral mais pas trop gênant pour moi puisque je tourne l’écran souvent à droite ou à gauche pour regarder YouTube ou streaming.Bon, maintenant je suis content d'avoir du "4K UHD" et bon investissement au final !Au final, ce Philips 276E8VJSB/00 4K UHD est un excellent moniteur polyvalent pour faire du gaming et pour regarder des séries, des movies en streaming, Cabrides, des DVD ou des Blu-ray !Achat hautement recommandé pour de petits budgets !Et livré en temps, en heure et bien emballé devant le pas de la porte par Amazon !
