Where is it really produced, and where is it packaged? Conflicting information, between description and customer reviews.

It's from China. This is ground up into dust. This seaweed was crushed into a fine powder. You cannot use it, eat it, or even return it to get your money back. Do not buy this product or from this Seller!

how small are the pieces cut? Are they shredded like you would find in a Wakame salad or are they larger cut like you might find in a miso soup?

how long is the "use by" (or "best by") date? I'd like to buy a pound, but that would have to keep very well over at least six months. Thanks!
