Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm for Thick/Coarse Dry Hair

No offense, but this is basically the cure for cancer and the solution to all of life’s problems. (Obviously that’s a joke… but my hair refuses to acknowledge that fact.) I have thick, dry hair that can get tangled easily, and this Joico Moisture Recovery Treatment Balm has made a big difference. It helps add deep moisture, makes my hair much easier to detangle, and leaves it feeling soft, smooth, and healthy. This is a fabulous product. I been using for 2 weeks now and my hair which is curly permed and dyed is softer/no frizz/shiny and manageable. I have used it 4 times. YES in shower let it sit 5 mins on your head while you bath in warm water. When you rinse use cool water. If you use hot it will dissolve the balm and you will not get the benifits. Wash with warm water and rinse with cool so it seals the cuticle in your hair with the balm in it. Only note is the pump was broken. I have to squeeze the bottle. This was bothersome but i got around it. It not worth subtracting a star since we are rating the product not the packaging. I have this on subscribe and save now and look forward to enjoying more JOICO products. Yes it better than Humectress from Nexus and CAKE.

This is extremely moisturizing and is helping with my hair recovery (coarse white/silver hair). Unfortunately it has Yellow #5 in it and turns my hair a pale pee yellow, which requires me to use Purple Shampoo to mask it… and the reason I give it 4 Stars instead of Five.

I have dry coarse thick natural wavy hair. Great combo with Texas humidity. I Bought the shampoo and conditioner from TJ Maxx and saw I needed a balm to complete this trio hair treatment. My hair has been so dry and brittle for a couple of years due to bleaching my hair so I figured I’d invest in my hair some and try this out. I’ve use joico products in the past and they’ve always worked well just a little expensive. I’ve used deva curl but it makes my hair real oily. This balm with the shampoo and conditioner really brought the hydration back in my brittle hair. I see less breakage and not as much hair in the shower! I’ve used it for 2 weeks now and I noticed it is so much easier to style my hair now. I was afraid to straighten my hair for a while just because it had gotten SO dry and tangled. Today I finally straightened it and my hair is so smooth. Love the smell of the balm. I use a little pea size of the balm as like a after style product on my hair and it through my ends or the top layer of my hair where I’ve bleached to add just a little bit more hydration I love joico. My sensitive scalp does not break out when using. Another perk. I have high maintenance hair that’s in recovery . It finally feels manageable after using this product

It smells great , light weight really moisturizes your hair if its dry and brittle. its great for all hair types As a person who has dry hair , this is my go to Joico Moisture Recovery product hsnds down and recommend it to others as its value for its money.
