Works great-Update
Update 08/2021***I now leave my Makitas at home when I head to the property. I own a full assortment of 18 volt Ryobis now.. two drill motors, one 1/4" impact, one 1/2" impact, one multi tool, one band saw, o ne circular saw, one grinder, one multi tool, two air.pumos, abd one leaf blower all in the 18 volt platform.. I've been so impressed with their performance I picked up a 40 volt blower, a 40 volt weed eater and a 40 volt pole saw.. great stuff!!!After spending over 4 decades in commercial construction, I personally own all Makita battery tools but my son got me a tire filler pump that uses this battery last year. I've been keeping rechargeable electric screwdrivers in my vehicles at the ranch for general use but decided to drop 20 bucks more on this when one of them recently stripped out. WOW! Works great, powerful, well made. Not my everyday tool choice but could be for someone that doesn't use a drill day in and day out to make a living. My buddy has used one of these Ryobis for years with no issues. VERY impressed with this powerful well made tool. May buy more.

Great drill with an easy to use keyless chuck and torque settings that can drill in concrete
We have a ton of these Ryobi 18v tools - weedwacker, blower, drills, jigsaw, mini-chainsaw and more. I love them.I ordered this because our regular Ryobi 18v drill is a quick change, which is great, but can't accept round bits. We needed to drill some holes in concrete and those bits are easier to find in round, so we needed a new drill. Since we already have 3 chargers and many batteries (I buy after market batteries now here on Amazon), I opted for this simple drill without accessories. At less than $30 I figured I couldn't go wrong, and I was right. This little drill is almost identical to our main, quick change drill, but there are subtle differences. This drill is just a tiny bit taller and beefier (you can see it in my pictures). It also has torque settings which were really helpful in drilling the concrete - we had no trouble drilling 28 1/2 holes with this baby!It came in a plain brown box with a single philips driver bit, in new condition. We love it and would totally buy again. We now use it more than our quick change drill.

Very sparky and dangerous motor
I ordered a Ryobi P215. The rear motor housing sent sparks beyond the housing when current was drawn. An alarming spectacle! And dangerous where solvent vapors (like WD40) may be around. So I returned it for a replacement which misbehaved in exactly the same way. So I returned that and replaced it with a brushless motor model that has behaved safely and effectively. Do not buy!!!

Grinds and shoots sparks (replacement is fine)
The media could not be loaded. Check out the video. I'm guessing it shouldn't do this.Edit: got the replacement and it works fine. Nice tool, just bad luck on the first one.

2 Bad Units in a Row
Ordered and on the first use the motor was sparking, nearly every time I pulled the trigger. Returned my first order as I saw others had a similar issue that was corrected with a replacement unit. The replacement unit arrived today and the first time I pulled the trigger the motor started sparking, and every pull after that. Not sure if this is a problem with these drills in general, or if this company is just selling damaged or altered units?

No box, no warranty, just in a plain gray bag.
Bare tool only literally means just that and no warranty information, instruction manual, no box, just delivered in a plain, gray bag. There is absolutely nothing from the manufacturer and nothing that tells me this item is new. My guess is that its refurbished.

This is a very light weight product however it threw sparks
I liked the price , the weight and like all of my other Ryobi tools had a nice look , feel and weight. This drill was a replacement from AMAZON for one of the same that I returned that was throwing blue electric current from the side when the trigger was pulled . This replacement drill has the same problem so I conclude that it is manufactured cheaply , perhaps needs new or different brushes but definitely has some sort of electrical problem unlike my several other RYOBI 18 volt tools going all the way back to my first "blue" RYOBI 18 volt drill that I have had since 1999 and still doesn't have any problems other then it is much heavier. I have returned this drill too and in this case asked for a refund.

Not new
Not in manufacturers packing, was in bubble wrap only. Sparks quite a lot. Quality not consistent with manufacturers other products. Not using for anything other than extremely light duty winding - no drilling or screwing. Very very sketch.

Easy to Use
This is such an essential tool to have if you have cars or bikes. Easy to use and I love the digital read out.Only negative in my case was the little plastic thumb clip that helps attach the nozzel to the tire valve broke. I am hoping their customer service can send me a new one which I will happily upgrade my review to 5 stars

Sparks and item is not in Ryobi box (used)
The item was not in a proper Ryobi box which shows that it is a used item. And it gave out sparks when turned ON.Asked for a refund.

Brand New, Perfect Consition
What a great drill. Cordless, 1/2” chuck. Perfect. And in a plain box covered in bubble wrap with a manual included. Despite the plain packaging, the drill is in new condition. For the price, it’s a great value. Very happy.
