Ohuhu Ocarina 12 Hole Alto C with Song Book, Gift for Music Fans Blue

Got one for my son because he is a huge Zelda fan and he had been bugging me for one for a long time. Well, I decided to get him this one for Christmas and kinda expected it to be a gimmick and something that wouldn't work well if at all. Whoa! Was I ever wrong!!! Turns out the thing play kinda like a recorder and does in fact work. Not only does it work, it actually sounds really good. When I was young I remember playing recorder in school and this instrument reminds me of that but just in a different layout. Also, the sounds from recorders always seemed kinda pitchy and harsh, and you had to blow softer to get the low notes to sound right and it was difficult for people to learn how to get the air flow just right for some of those notes. With this instrument it is easy to get all the notes to sound great and the sound of the notes overall is more soothing and not harsh sounding. My son tried the recorder and hated it, but he loves using this and I hear him outside playing tunes he made up on it all the time. Just one word of caution about this though... It is made of ceramics so it will break if it is dropped. Just be careful with it and treat it like you would a more expensive instrument and you'll love it and it will last a long time!

Best Christmas gift i have given. The Zelda Ocarina is more than just a musical instrument—it's a tribute to one of the most iconic video game franchises of all time. Inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, this beautifully crafted ocarina captures the magic and mystery of the game while offering a genuine musical experience. Made from ceramic or high-quality plastic, depending on the model, it features a smooth finish and a design that closely resembles Link’s legendary instrument. The tone holes are well-placed, making it easy for beginners to learn and for experienced players to perform more complex melodies. It produces a clear, haunting sound that’s perfect for playing classic Zelda tunes or experimenting with your own compositions. Whether you're a collector, a musician, or a die-hard Zelda fan, the Zelda Ocarina is a must-have. It’s a unique blend of fandom and functionality that brings a little Hyrule magic into the real world.

Great sounding ocarina plays very well. The hand that holds the ocarina though does not work that well if you touch it or anything around it even the smallest bit the ocarina worried that it’s gonna break. I stopped using it other than that. This is a very goodbye for a Zelda fan goes great with my wall of Zelda stuff. Great size for kids and adults really good price would’ve been four stars if hand wasn’t able to be used, but I put link on it and it sold me for a five star.

The ocarina itself is great, but the stand is beyond useless. Either the ocarina slides off, or the stand tips over. There are a bunch of pictures of the ocarina on the stand on the product page, but trying to place it in that same configuration resulted in the stand tipping over. so if you buy this, don't expect to use the stand.

It’s good quality has a nice book and a holder and the sound quality is much better on this one

It is the best gift! My 14 year old recieved one for his birthday, sounds great and great quality

Good display piece, don’t expect anything more. You can’t really play it, and the stand can barely support it. One small fall and it might chip or break. Decent quality though

I should say that this ocarina is actually pretty good. I know that there is a ton of bad reviews about cheaper Amazon ocarinas. However, I would not apply it to this one. There is a way of making those higher notes sound correctly, that is applicable to all ocarinas, btw. Firstly, one has to lower the ocarina making it almost 90°, adjacent to one’s chest, then, when playing the note, one has to blow more air than in lower notes. Make sure to blow the air in correctly (almost as if spitting the air into the ocarina). Otherwise, more professional ocarinas can get a little airy too on higher notes (I compared it to the STL tenor C plastic ocarina that I own). I hope this helps. I’m happy with the purchase.

This product sits well on my shelf, and is a really cool to look at and nod towards Zelda. I have tried to play it a few times and it does sound like what to expect but nothing as easy or cool as the games. Personally, it suits better as a nice gift to someone who enjoys the games and more for building a nice gaming set up than an instrument.

Super consigliata!

Allt va perfect skick allt kom med ock allt funkade väldigt glad

J’aime bien mon ocarina, il est comme sur la photo, et c’est bien pour Zelda pour jouer avec son ami Link
